"I saw you leave... I know who you left with,"

Atsumu pulled on a black hoodie over a gray shirt and paired it with black shorts, readying himself for practice.

With their next game just a month away, the team needed to train diligently. There would be no one to blame but themselves if they lost due to lack of preparation.

He hopped into his car, double-checking that his green water bottle was in its usual spot. After confirming he had everything, he headed off to practice.

As he drove, Atsumu cranked up the volume on his music, trying to drown out his thoughts. His mind kept drifting back to the girl from that morning. He couldn't shake the regret of not getting her number.

Turning the volume higher to silence his thoughts, he focused on the road and soon arrived at the gymnasium. Parking quickly, he got out of the car, eager to see his teammates.

Even though he had hung out with some of them the night before, practice always brought a different kind of excitement.

It was already 3 pm, and he hoped his friends were well-rested from the previous night's fun.

"Atsumu! You traitor!" Bokuto shouted, throwing a towel in his direction. The towel flopped harmlessly to the ground, defeated by gravity.

Atsumu laughed, shaking his head at Bokuto's antics as he walked in.

"How am I a traitor? If anything, the ones who didn't show up are the real traitors," Atsumu retorted, making his way to the locker room.

Hinata slipped away from Bokuto and snuck into the locker room with Atsumu. "Did you really have to say that?" Hinata frowned as he sat down on one of the benches.

"Say what?" Atsumu turned to Hinata, genuinely confused.

"That we, the people who were nice and comfortable in our houses, are more traitorous than you."

"Well, you guys didn't go after he had been planning for a week. So yeah, you tell me who sounds more traitorous," Atsumu chuckled, shaking his head.

"Whatever... I can't wait to start practicing," Hinata grumbled, standing up. He was about to leave but then noticed some marks on Atsumu's back as he took off his hoodie, which lifted his shirt a bit.
