chapter ten.

Karina explained her plan to Bonnie who was standing in her basement with her.

"Wait wait, you want to go after Katherine, tonight?" Bonnie asked her shocked.

"Why are you so surprised?" Karina asked confused, "You had to know it was going to happen eventually."

"No, I know." Bonnie sighed, "It's just I literally came from Stefan's, and they had the same plan to attack her tonight because apparently she told Caroline that she wanted the moonstone that we got from the well." Bonnie explained to her.

Karina winced and gave Bonnie a sheepish look, "I actually have the moonstone." Bonnie's eyes widen, "Tyler gave it to me the day Damon and Stefan got attacked by Liz. He didn't want Mason to have it when he realized Mason only came back for it and not his family. So, I have it."

"Where is it?" Bonnie asked her and Karina pointed to the bookshelf. "Safe."

Karina nodded, "Very safe." She sighed, "But Damon and Stefan want to get her?"

Bonnie hummed, "They want me to isolate her away from people so they can attack her. Elena isn't going so it'll be easy for Katherine to blend in."

"I had Jeremy make sure that Jenna wore the earrings I got her, I don't know how Katherine got her to take them off, but I did a little dive and found out that Katherine was compelling Jenna." Karina told Bonnie who gasped softly, "I know, I don't know what would've happened had they remained off."

"Should we work with Damon and Stefan?" Bonnie asked with a frown.

"No, Damon's not getting shit from me." Karina told her with a shake of his head. "Did they tell you how they drugged me in order to take out Mason?"

"Wait what?" Bonnie's eyes widened, "I told them that I wasn't going to do the spell, but he said you gave the okay to mind dive. I didn't think he'd lie like that!"

"Wait who said I said it was okay?" Karina asked with a frown. "Damon?"

"No, Stefan." Bonnie told her, "It's why I mind dived to find the moonstone because I would sooner trust Stefan than Damon."

Karina was shocked at this, she couldn't believe that Stefan would lie and let Damon do what he did. "God, I hate them."

"With good reason." Bonnie told her with a small laugh. "Now let's go over this plan some more."

Karina nodded and they got back to planning out their move.

Karina walked into the Lockwood Mansion beside Bonnie, the two had their arms linked together as they walked inside with looks of determination.

Aurora and Andrew were behind the two with William in tow, they were there for moral support and peace of mind to make sure that nothing went array.

"See you soon." Karina whispered to Bonnie before the two broke apart and Karina went off in search of Tyler.

The plan was for Bonnie to spell a room off like Stefan and Damon wanted but it wouldn't be the room that she told them. Instead, she would spell another room where Karina would be waiting for Katherine, and she would mind jump into Katherine in order to get the answers that she wanted out of the vampire before killing her.

There was no reason to keep her alive, no benefit truly so Karina and Bonnie agreed that killing her was the best course of action before any more problems came to their doorstep. Jeremy would then lure Katherine into the house with the false pretext that Stefan and Damon were waiting for her.
