The sun set over Jump City, casting long shadows across Titans Tower. The iconic T-shaped building stood tall on its island, home to the city's foremost protectors. Inside the tower, the Teen Titans were preparing for their newest recruit.
Robin paced in the common room, his cape swishing with each turn. "They're supposed to be here by now," he muttered.
Starfire floated nearby, her eyes bright with curiosity. "I am sure they will arrive soon, Robin. It is a most joyous occasion to welcome a new friend."
Cyborg and Raven were engaged in a video game, the sounds of battle echoing from the screen. Beast Boy sat on the couch, his eyes flicking between the game and the clock.
"Yo, B," Cyborg called without looking up, "you seem nervous. Got a crush already?"
Beast Boy's green skin darkened slightly. "Shut up, man. I'm just curious, that's all."
A knock on the door interrupted their banter. Robin swiftly moved to open it, revealing Y/N standing there with a hesitant smile.
"Welcome to Titans Tower," Robin said, extending a hand. "I'm Robin. This is Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy."
Y/N shook hands with Robin and the others, feeling the warmth of their welcome. "It's an honor to be here. I hope I can be of help."
Beast Boy gave a wide grin. "Hey, Y/N! We could always use more cool people around here. Let me show you around!"
As Beast Boy led Y/N through the tower, pointing out various rooms and gadgets with infectious enthusiasm, Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging starting to form.
