(Setting up the story)
It was a week from late October to November. The air was changing and all these teens were ready to make their school proud!! All of them full of hope and joy for the week to come getting ready for the big day. Getting to explore new places! And most importantly getting to be with people who mean the most!! Preston had been in band for 7 years and this was his 3rd time going to state. He was excited because he was the drum major! He gets to lead his band that he literally grew up in to state! The boy was happy and proud of the people around him. He watched many of them grow into the people they are today. Here is how thoses days went.
