Y/N'S POV

Millie dropped me off at the restaurant where I was supposed to meet up with Finn.

I was pretty nervous to be seeing Finn again, to be honest. I know we met at the cafe a few weeks ago but that was just an accident.

I went inside the restaurant and saw Finn. I head over to the table he was at.

"Hey," I tell him as I walk over to the table and take a seat on the opposite side of him.

"Where are the others? I thought they were gonna come," he asks.

"I dunno, they're probably just going to be late," I reply. "Let me ask the rest where they are," I say as I grab my phone and text Millie about how everything is going.

"So... How's life?" Finn asks me.

"It's going on pretty well for me, what about you?" I reply to his question.

"Uh yeah, same with you, going pretty good too," he answers.

After that, we just sat in silence...

But Finn broke that silence after a bit, "It's been a while..." he says. "A pretty long while to be honest. I-I mean not including the time we met at the cafe a while ago," he stutters.

"Yeah, it has," I reply to his comment.

"So, uh... How's it going with your love life? I mean only if you're comfortable with telling me. I mean the last time we saw each other, other than in the cafe, of course, was when we broke up." Finn says, stuttering a little.

"No, it's fine! I got a boyfriend, but our relationship didn't really last long. We were better off as friends. But then we just stopped talking after a while and yeah. How bout you?" I reply.

"Nothing much happened if I gotta be honest, I also got a girlfriend but she cheated on me. I was obviously sad at first but I don't really care anymore, that was a long time ago," he answers.

I felt bad for Finn that his ex-girlfriend cheated on him. Who would ever do that? He's the Finn Wolfhard!

The waiter finally comes and asks us for our orders.

While we were eating, we just talked about random things and stuff about our lives to catch up on the things we've been missing.

"Hey, do you need a ride?" Finn asks me.

"Sure if it wouldn't bother you," I reply. We just finished eating and are about to go home.

"It's not a problem, you still live in the same house right?" He asks me, just to make sure.

"Yeah, I do," I answer.

"Alright let's go," he says as he opens the door for me, signaling me to go inside.

As we arrived at my house, I was about to open the door when he told me something.

"Hey, can I have your number? I know we ended up on pretty bad terms after we broke up, but I think we can start again, as friends." He tells me.

"Oh yeah sure!" I reply as I grab his phone and add my number to his contacts. "Here," I hand his phone back.

"Thanks," he says. "Bye, Y/n!" He says to me as I get out of the car.

"Bye!" I say back as I wave to him and shut the door of his car.

"Thanks for today!" I shout one last time as he drives away.

When I get home, I immediately go to my contacts and find Finn's contact, changing his name.

As I put my phone away, I remembered something else I was supposed to do.

"Oh wait, I forgot something!" I say to myself

I unlock my phone again and open Instagram.
