A few days later...

"According to this book," Harry said while he flopped a heavy, thick book onto a library table. He pointed at the words. "The opening to the chamber of secrets is located on the second floor of Hogwarts. Moaning Myrtle died because of the basilisk, and... That's all."

"Stop reading that trash. We need to find a legit book," Hermione said, immediately closing the book with a large amount of force, smashing Harry's fingers. "Did you read the line under the part where you pointed? It said: To find out more about the chamber of secrets, read 'The Chamber of Secrets: A Tale Of A Basilisk'. That's in the restricted section. Harry and Ron, meet us in the Gryffindor common room with your wands and the invisibility cloak at 11pm."

The quartet met up in the Gryffindor common room at 11pm.

"How are we all going to fit in that cloak? It's far too small," asked Celesta.

"Celesta could go with me, since this cloak can only fit 2 people at most," Harry suggested.

Hermione and Celesta exchanged glances, and smirked.

"What?" Harry questioned.

"No. Give me your cloak, and I'll head out with Celesta. I don't fancy you dropping the lamp and almost getting caught by Filch again. Understood?"

"Understood," Harry replied immediately.

The next day...

"Hermione, what did you find in the book?" Asked Harry.

"Tom Riddle's diary is located somewhere near the second floor girls' bathroom, and the sink is the entrance to the chamber of secrets. Somehow only parseltounges can only open it. That will be you, Harry."

After finishing their breakfast, the quartet arrived at the gate of the chamber of secrets.

"Open," hissed Harry in parseltougue.

The quartet jumped into the abyss filled with dirt. They walked out into a dark and damp place.

Celesta looked around the room and spotted Ginny.

"Ginny! She's over there!" Shouted Celesta, running towards her.

Suddenly, a basilisk appeared out of nowhere. Luckily, it was just the tail of the basilisk.

Celesta was so shocked she fell onto the slippery floor of the chamber. She crawled stealthily towards Ginny.

The basilisk slithered towards Harry, whose eyes were shut, frightening him even more. Suddenly, a crimson cloud of dust whirled around him. Harry opened his eyes and looked at it. It took him a while to realise it was Fawkes, Professor Dumbledore's phoenix. Fawkes delivered Harry the sorting hat and he reached into the hat, pulling out the sword of Gryffindor. He closed his eyes and started waving the sword. He stuck the sword in the basilisk's eye, and it immediately went away. Harry opened his eyes when he couldn't hear any more noise.

"Harry, I can't believe we did it! We conquered the basilisk!" Hermione cheered happily for her best friend.

Meanwhile, Celesta looked around the room frantically for evidence of how Ginny ended up unconscious on the floor.

"There! A book! Ron, grab it for me!" Celesta commanded.

Just when Ron was about to grab the book, he realized that Harry had already beaten him to it.

Celesta grabbed the book from Harry's hands and gasped.

"It's a diary that says Tom Riddle... I wonder who that is."

Celesta opened the diary and a blurred memory burst out from the book. There was a man standing in the memory. It looked almost like a hologram.

"Who are you?" Asked Hermione curiously.

Letters started to appear in the air, it spelt 'Tom Marvolo Riddle'.

The man rearranged the letters to form 'I am Lord Voldemort'

The quartet gasped.

Celesta grabbed the sword Harry threw onto the floor and stabbed hard at the diary. Blood leaked out of it and Ginny woke up suddenly.

"Celesta? Ron? Where am I?" Asked the half-conscious Ginny.

"Long story," Harry replied.
