Matthew: intro

A tall, fairly well-built yet toned physique, grayish eyes with a blue hue around the irises, a sharply defined jawline, fairly messy yet perfectly curly dark brown hair, and glasses that aren't really needed most of the time, except to help him read small text on phones, papers, or books. He was just like every other 19-year-old boy. He tends to get himself into a lot of trouble with his friends and parties and all that stuff. His name was Matthew, and he was born into the Levi family, known as one of the top richest families in New York, including the founder of one of the many top companies owned by his father, Brent Levi. Many people would absolutely love being in his position, with wealthy parents, designer clothes, large luxurious mansions, fancy sports cars, and basically getting everything they could have ever wanted or dreamed of having. That's what others think it's like to be in a household of wealthy family members, but for Matthew, he hated it. Always living up to his family's expectations, part of him wished that he could be a normal teenage boy. Sure, being in a wealthy family has its perks, but it's also not what people believe it to be. He soon would have to carry the weight of his family's company at some point in his life, having to deal with paperwork, meetings, and all this other bullshit. He wished he didn't have to deal with it, but unfortunately, he can't always get what he wants. But at least he has a loving, supportive, and absolutely gorgeous girlfriend, Alice. She was everything he could ever dream of: sweet, playful, feisty at times, and overall just herself. She always saw him as a person and not like other girls who were almost as wealthy as him and only saw him for his wealth and status. That's what made her stand out from the rest. Others would use and take advantage of his status and wealth for their own personal gain and, when they were satisfied, leave him and toss him away as if he were nothing. He was no stranger to that. In fact, it happened so many times that he just didn't seem to care when they broke up with him. But Alice? No, she was a goddess, his one and only, someone perfect in his eyes, someone he couldn't afford to lose at all.

Despite being an ordinary young adult with her own life and goals, she was still everything to him. Although the two were in a relationship, they had to keep it a secret. This relationship was never meant to happen, nor was he supposed to let this continue. So why, you may ask? Well, his parents had already gone ahead and planned his future for him. Exactly on his 20th birthday, he would have to get married to the daughter of the Emily family, the second wealthiest family in New York. The two former CEOs, Brent Levi, Matthew Fathet, and Alex Emily, the father of Isabella, have some form of acquaintance, but over time, that acquaintance would grow into something more. The two of them would agree to let their children enter into an arranged marriage to merge their companies and make it one of the largest known companies in the world. Because of the aforementioned future arrangements, Matthew had to keep this relationship a secret, which is why it was forbidden.
