Essence of the Source

I am the source,
An abomination, they claim,
But I’m no monster,
Not the one consumed by power.

They saw me burn,
Now they glimpse my true essence.
Yet, I am not what they imagine,
I am the source.

“She craves control,
fears not the unknown,
Shun listening, observing, learning.
Power as her shield, now her cage,
She never found balance.”

What is balance?
Energy flows, connections spark,
The source channel through,
This is my own version of harmony, Love.

“But she never learned to love,”
And for that, I pity her.
Emotions root us to life,
Without them, we soar too high,
Forgetting how to feel.

My partner is my rock,
My foundation, my strength.
The reason I can absorb,
And maintain my link to the source.

They are my balance,
They showed me how to live,
And how to love.
