˚。⋆୨୧˚ Chapter 4. Words To Live By
୨୧˚Victoria's POV:

I'm in my room getting ready to spend the rest of the day with Sebastián and Camila. I couldn't wait to spend a fun day with them, exploring the city of Barcelona and creating beautiful memories together. Unfortunately, Sarah couldn't join us as work has kept her busy lately. I understood her situation and missed her company, but I knew we would catch up soon.

I wore a medium-length cream dress along with a beige jacket, since it's been a bit cold in Barcelona lately, despite it being early October. The dress had intricate lace details on the sleeves and hem, giving it a touch of elegance. I loved how it looked on me and I felt comfortable and elegant at the same time. I finished zipping up my long black boots, making sure they were tight and perfect for walking around the city.

After looking in the mirror and making sure I looked presentable, I grabbed my black purse from the side table and headed out to meet Sebastián and Camila.

"Aunt Vicky! What are we doing today?" Camila says excitedly as she runs into my arms. I smile at her, feeling grateful for these moments with my niece. She only visits me a few times a year, so I always try to make our time together special.

"Well, first we're going to have breakfast at the restaurant you like so much when you come to visit me," I tell her, ruffling her dark curls. "Then we'll go pumpkin picking at a nearby local farm, have ice cream as a snack, and lastly, we'll go home and bake a pumpkin pie together. What do you think?"

Camila's eyes widen with excitement and she claps. "Sounds like the best day of my life, Aunt Vicky! I love spending time with you!"

"Victoria, you don't know how to cook, and you think you can bake?" My brother asked. "Come on, Victoria, admit it. You burned the water the last time you tried to cook," Sebastian laughed as we reached the elevator.

"I may not be a master chef, but I can handle baking a pumpkin pie with Camila's help," I reply playfully, sticking my tongue out at my brother. Camila giggles at our banter, clearly enjoying the family dynamic.

Soon Sebastian stops at the restaurant called La Casa De Abuelita and parks my car in the parking lot. Sebastian opens the door for Camilla and me while holding Camila's hand as we walk towards the entrance of the restaurant. The sun is just starting to rise, casting a warm glow over the quaint building.

"Hello, welcome to La Casa De Abuelita, the place where you arrive with an empty stomach and leave with a full stomach. How can I help you today, miss?" the host says with a smile as he sees us enter the restaurant.

"Hello, good morning, I have a reservation in the name of Victoria Rodríguez for a group of three," I reply, feeling a sense of excitement for the breakfast ahead.

The host checks his reservation list and nods, "Ah, yes, Miss Rodríguez. Right this way, please.

"He leads us to a table near the window, offering a lovely view of the sunrise. The early morning light filters through the sheer curtains, creating a cozy atmosphere in the restaurant.

"Your waiter will be here shortly, in the meantime, can I offer you something to drink?" the host asks, pouring glasses of water for each of us.

"We will have two coffees with milk, not too much sugar, and a small orange juice for my daughter," I request, feeling the anticipation for the delicious food to come.
