The moment Eden arrived at school people flocked to him like metal to a magnet. To the other students, Eden was someone everyone wanted to call their friend or perhaps lover. To Eden, the other students were scrap metal, nothing but trash deserving to be thrown away. Yes, he could probably reshape them into something new, something likable but scrap metal will always be scrap metal no matter how many uses it has.

"Eden want to go out to an arcade later?" The person who asked was a male about the same height as him with features that one could only define as simplistic.

Eden never pareticularly cared to registar people's appearances apart from their basic features. None were worth memorizing, after all, after high school most would disapear from his life to become average members of society worth no more than a single rug in his home. Call it pompous or excessively conceited but Eden was well aware of where he stood among the lesser participants in society. He had the money, the looks, the smarts, the charisma to land him in the 'swimming in green' zone. Compared to him everyone else was as unnoticable and as bland as an ant walking across the sidewalk. Bugs.

"Ah, I don't think I can, I have some work to do at home," Eden gave a smile.

The boy gave a sigh and rubbed the back of his neck, "Alright alright, maybe next time then."

That was the only decent thing about this person to Eden. Winston was considered to be one of Eden's closer friends. Eden found his lazy personality tolerable since Winston never had the energy to nag or push things.

Idle conversation passed as the group made their way towards the school's doors. Eden laughed and smiled, and made jokes. His dark caramel eyes glazed over the students who would speak loudly or make large hand gestures to get his attention until they landed on a familiar spot. A corner on the side of the school building in the garden. A corner where he first made eye contact with that small trembling figure. Just the thought of the boy and his dingey little camera irritated Eden.

It made it even worse that for some reason he was seeing the boy everywhere now. In his classes. In the hallways. At asymbeles. It was odd for Eden to single someone out, to suddenly be hyper-aware of their presence. Stalkers were common for Eden and in most cases, he typically spared them no attention simply ignoring them, in severe cases he had people drive them off. Never had he even thought about the name of one of his stalkers, or the way their hair would be neat one day and messy the next, or how they bit their lip when they were nervous, or how they would fiddle with their fingers.

Was Eden going mad? He had to be, and it was all because of that boy. Y/n. Eden needed him gone. It didn't matter if he forced the boy to switch schools, or move away, Eden just wanted him out of his sight. Y/n, is distracting.

"Eden, is something wrong?" A girl with chestnut hair and doe eyes tugged at Eden's sleeve. Impudent.

Eden refocused himself, away from the thoughts of that boy, "No I just got lost in thought for a moment."

"Claire class is about to start soon so scram," Winston said through a yawn.

The girl rolled her eyes and flipped Winston off, "Oh go find something better to do than nitpicking on me all day you bum, bye Eden," she gave Eden a wave and Winston a glare before striding off.

Winston frowned, "how come she only likes you?"

"She likes me paying for trips to the arcade," Eden pulled his lips into a smile, "besides maybe you should try being a bit nicer to her."

Winston narrowed his eyes before groaning, "Let's just go to class already."

Though Claire could be rather clingy at times she wasn't nearly as annoying as the many others that followed Eden around. In fact Eden found a sort of usefulness in her as her clingy and loud nature often drove away the other 'bugs'.
