I gaped down at my arm sheeted in bruises and more

Is that a third? No, I believe thats number four.

I threew on a blue shirt

It was covered in stains.

But what did it matter.? I was going to dance in the rain.

I tried to sneak by

I honestly did.

But all I was was a 6 year old kid.

My mind was cluttered and my brain was full

So my thoughts were shuttered, and memorys were hard to pull.

I had a small sister and her name was Kate

And so that night I was destined to fate.

I heard my name get called not once, but twice,

then I knew I must pay the price.

So I flew up the stairs, tears in my eyes

For now I know how it feels to be dispised.

"You must clean these things up," He said with A violent wack to my head,

I fell to the floor and must have looked ever-so-dead.

I screamed in agony, I screamed in despair

I had a strong feeling this was going to be my last prayer.

I soon got up and ran for the door,

But the sad part is, daddy hit me more and more.

I was out of breath, that I was

This surley didn't deserve any applause.

Kate was gone and so was I

But all I could have asked was 'Why, Daddy, Why.?'

I loved you so true

And here I lay, yes me, Kaytlyn-Lynn Luu

I was wearing a blue shirt and it was smothered in blood stains

..But after all, I was only going to dance in the rain.
