"I'm going to be late for class".
Quickly rushes to get ready. Put on her grey matching set sweatpants and hoodie. After brushed her teeth and washed her face, ate breakfast then left to class. She ran up those halls as fast as she was in a track meet and made it to class.
" I made it". She panted.
She quickly walked in the classroom. As she was going to her seat she saw her friend Melody.
"Hey girl, where have you been?
"I'm sorry, your girl overslept".
"Girl you always over sleep".
"Shut up". I mugged her.
Melody laughing.
"Anyways girl did I miss anything? Wait where is Mrs. Johnson?
"Oh she had a emergency to take care of so we have a sub."
Eyssynce sighs of relief.
"Why you so happy?"
"Because Mrs. Johnson has been on my ass for the past week about my work. She's been begging me to put my work in the art show for homecoming. That's a good oppertunity and all, but I don't think I'm ready to show my work out to the "whole world".
"As your bestfriend I think you should take the oppertunity. It would be a start of showing people your talent and being inspired. I also think your overreacting about showing your work to the "whole world", it would be dope to let other people to see your work and besides your showing your work to kids that literally go here so just relax."
"I guess you have a point. I mean this could change my life, I could be probaby be rich and famous and buy my dream house, if that happens. You know what, I'm gonna take the oppertunity toshow people what I'm made of."
"SPEAK SISTA, SPEAK !!" Melody yelled.
After taking a bunch of notes and getting a study guide for a upcoming test, class ended. Eyssynce and Melody left school and went to Starbucks to get some coffee, breakfast, and some work done.
Once they got their food they sat in a table and got to work. While working Eyssynce was emailing her teacher Mrs. Johnson about joining the art show.
