Silver

I hate him.

No, I loath him.

"I hate you." I whispered in a low voice

"Oh yeah? Tell me something I don't know already, Queen." Aiden replied

I don't know why the fuck that bastard calls me that. But I think it's because of my surname

I rolled my eyes, "Don't play games with me, Aiden. What the fuck do you want?"

"Don't worry, Queen. You'll find out soon enough." He said as a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

Before I could reply, he put his backpack over his shoulder and walked away.

That cocky bastard.

Aiden and I have been you could call enemies since childhood. But we have to deal each other because we are in the same friend group.

RES. Royal Elite School. Made for Elites. The ones who rule the society, atleast according to our elders.

Our friend group is the typical high school clichè movie, made up of popular kids.

4 girls and 4 guys. Very clichè.

"Silver!" Teal's voice shook me out of my thoughts.

Teal Van Donvern, Elsa Steel half sister, Ethan Steel daughter and my bestfriend since the last year.

Teal joined our school last year and even though she's bit of a quiet type, we got along easily.

She was wearing a black crop top that quoted, "Choosing music over men any day"

Black cargos fitting her waist perfectly and her headphones hung around her neck with her black backpack hung around her shoulder.

She walked up to me by the lockers

"What happened?" I replied

"Nothing. I have been calling your name for the past 10 mins. What thoughts were you lost in?" Teal asked as a flicker of worry showing in her expression

I love to talk, I really do. But sometimes I get zoned out and those memories comes back in flashbacks all over again..

Only teal knows about it. I know about her past and she knows about mine.

She might be thinking It's one of thoese flashbacks.

"I was just zoned out. Normal zoned out not that other one."

She let out a sigh of relief at that

"What happened with Aiden back there?" Teal asked with a hint of curiosity in her tone

"Nothing much, just him acting like a cocky bastard that he is." I huffed

"You two can't ever get along, can you?" Teal chuckled.

"Never. He seemed a bit off though." I said

"Why?" Teal asked

I was about to reply when the bell rang cutting me off

"I have History then English, you?" I asked

"Chemistry and Bio. I'll see you at lunch." Teal as she waved and walked away.

I sighed and flinched when someone sneaked up on me

"Kimberly!" I shouted

Kimberly is one of my close friends from childhood. She has been in our friend group for a long time.
