Orgins pt. 2 (Champion)

[Scene: Fox News Studios, Reporter, Melinda Morse, updates Empire City on the mysterious Athletic Zombies that are dispersed around the City]
Reporter Morse: [standing to the side of a picture of one of Champion's minions, with tablet in hand] The zombies are scattered all over Empire City, and for the time being, they're showing no signs of movement. [a variety of pictures is shown] Police have cordoned off the area.
Mayor Johnson: [on TV alongside Officer Smith] We won't stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves, but for now, we're not making much headway. [The camera flips back to Reporter Morse standing next to a photo of Misterbug & Cat Walker]
Reporter Morse: Empire is relying on our new guardian angels, Misterbug & Cat Walker, to save us all. Our lives depend on them.

[Scene: At Zeke's house. Zeke is standing next to his father, watching the TV while he washes dishes]
Tom: [turns around and puts arm on Zeke's shoulder] Listen, I know how upsetting and scary this is, but don't worry, champ; we've got two superheros looking out for Empire, and the best way of helping them is to show them that we're not scared, because we trust them. [raises a fist and scrunches face with confidence and faith]
Zeke: But what if Misterbug fails? [looks down in shame]
Tom: Then I'd come and save you [holds baguette as a sword] Super Baker to the rescue!
Zeke: [giggles and hugs his dad] Thanks, Super Dad! [He runs up to his room and grabs his wallet, pausing for a moment to look at his vanity drawer where he kept his Miraculous. He opens the drawer and contemplates taking the Box. Then, she places the box in his book bag with certainty]

[Scene: At Parker's house]
Emily: Hmm, what's he doing? [the clock chimes once; she looks for Parker in his room but doesn't find him] Parker?
Gabriela: [near the staircase and entrance of the home, Emily and Keller Ward, stand side by side, Gabriela is not pleased] You didn't see him leave? You both know damn well he needs to be accompanied to places at all times! If anything happens to my grandson, you'll be held responsible!

[Scene: In the streets of Empire City]
Plagg: You're such a strange kid. Who would want to go to a yucky public school, when you can be spoiled at a private one?
Parker: You don't get it, Plagg. I've had enough of being at that horrible private school! I want to meet new people, and make friends! Go to a regular school like everyone else!
Plagg: [sighs] Uhh, I think I'm feeling weak...
Parker: You know what's strange? [stops running; unhooks his satchel and grabs a wedge of Camembert] The fact that all you eat is this disgusting, rotten-smelling Camembert cheese, and I have to smell like it 24/7. That's strange. [gets disgusted with Plagg and his behavior]
Plagg: If you wanna be able to transform into a superhero, then stinky cheese is the deal, my friend! [Parker continues to school]

[Scene: At CVHS. Maya Highser and Zeke Grande de Lily are discussing Misterbug]
Maya: Misterblog! [hands Zeke her phone] Bringing you all the latest news about the coolest superhero, Misterbug! How awesome is that?! [takes her phone back] Check out the number of views since I posted the video!
Zeke: But why do you trust Misterbug so much? All those zombies...
Maya: [confidently] He's gonna handle 'em!
Zeke: But what if he's not really cut out to be a superhero even though everyone thinks he is?
Maya: What are you talking about, boy? Oh, wait [comes to a realization] I know what this is about. [Zeke is flustered and sacred of what Maya is about to say] You're sacred, but don't be! I've seen him with my own two eyes, girl! Misterbug is a true superheroine! She's going to protect us all! I believe in him!
[Zeke looks down at his book bag and gets filled with confidence; as he walks with Maya, she notices a group gathered around Kim]
Adrien: [to Kim] So you really don't remember anything?
Jasmine: You were totally going ballistic. It was so cool!
Ivan: You were seriously out to crush me, dude!
Kim: Oh, I'm sorry...I wasn't myself...
Layla: Pff! [scoffs at Kim] Once a monster, always a monster. [Kim becomes furious and walks away as Layla continues to bully him] Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
[Scene: In Queen Chrysalis' lair]
Queen Chrysalis: Yes...feel the burn of those words. Lose your temper, Kim! Your akuma awaits you. [taps on her cane that is holding the akuma]
[with Parker]
Emily: Parker! Don't do this! Your Grandmother will be furious!
Parker: Tell her you got here too late. Please! [Parker runs to the inside of the school as Emily sighs]
[inside the school]
Maya: How could you say that to Kim. Do you feel like the champion over all of us?
Layla: Ugh, so I'm the one who broke Natalie's dad's arm, am I? Just because your footage of those lame superheroes was shown on TV, doesn't mean you have to get so high and mighty. [blows a bubble gum at her]
Layla: Look out, she's angry! She going to spilt her underwear and turn into a huge monster! [Maya huffs and walks away]
Parker: Hey, Layla!
Layla: Parky!! You came!!
[other students see Parker and rush over towards him, shouting in recognition]
[with Emily]
Emily: [gets in the car and speaks to Keller, her older brother] Just drive! I'll handle it!
Keller: Whatever, you say Emily.
[with Zeke]
Zeke: You know, you should tell Nayeli how you feel!
Kim: I...don't know what you're talking about.
Zeke: Come on, I saw the why you look at her. [Kim becomes visible upset] No! No negative emotions, Kim. [Kim give him a side eye] What I mean is, be positive. I'm sure Nayeli has feeling for you too. You should talk to her.
Kim: I'm no good with words anyway...
Zeke: But...who needs words? You can draw her picture, sends her flowers...
Kim: I could...write her a song?
Zeke: That's a great idea! What girl wouldn't want a love song written especially for her? Go for it, Kim, and, uh-, stay positive! [Kim runs off, excited]
[Scene: In Queen Chrysalis' lair]
Queen Chrysalis: Negative emotions...they're fading! Ugh.........
[Back at CVHS]
Layla: Wow. This is your seat, Parky! I saved it for you. Right in front of me!
Parker: Thanks, Layla. [sees Lukas Highser] Uh...Hey! Parker! [offers his hand to Lukas for a handshake]
Lukas: You're friends with Layla, then huh?
Parker: [sees Layla & Natalie putting gum on a seat] Hey! What's that all about!
Layla: The brat that sat here yesterday need a little attitude adjustment. I'm just commanding a bit of respect, that's all.
Parker: You think that's really necessary?
Layla: Ah, you've got lots to learn about school culture, Parky. Watch the master.
[with Zeke, outside the classroom]
Zeke: Maya, wouldn't you like to be a superhero and go out and fight monsters and villains?
Maya: Totally! I'm not sacred of anyone! Why?
Zeke: Oh! No reason...[puts the Miraculous case in Maya's bag secretly]
[Maya and Zeke enters the room]
Zeke: Hey! What are you doing?
Parker: Oh, uh...I...
[Natalie & Layla laugh]
Zeke: Okay. I get it. Good job, you three. Very funny.
Parker: No, no, I was just trying to take it off!
Zeke: Oh, really.
[Layla & Natalie continues to laugh]
Zeke: You're friends with Layla, right?
Parker: Why do people keep saying that? [Zeke huffs; goes to his seat]
Layla: Now do you see what I mean about respect?
Zeke: I know I've seen him somewhere before. [sees images of Gabriela, Parker, Emily, and Keller Ward on Maya's phone] Of course! He's the grandson of my fav fashion designer Gabriela Ward!
Maya: Granny's Boy, Teen Supermodel, D1 Football & Baseball Player, AND Layla buddy? Ha! Forget it!
Lukas: Why didn't you tell them it was Layla's idea?
Parker: I've know Layla since I was little kid. I know she not perfect, but I can't throw her under the bus. She like my only friend.
Lukas: I'm Lukas, and it's time for you to make some new friends, dude. [offers hand for a handshake, Parker accepts]
[Scene: In the Locker Room]
Nayeli: [leaving the bath room] Oh no, I'm gonna be late. [she bump into Kim] Ah! Kim you scared me.
Kim: I made this for you. [starts playing loud music and sing in a loud, shrill voice, reason the lyrics of his song] Nayeli, be serene, don't be so mean!
[Nayeli runs away, sacred. Kim gets angry, and wads up his lyric sheet, throws his phone on the floor and steps in it]
