Mine

Day Two, morning

Lucy has been really quiet since last night. Normally she would come out and say bye to me before I head off to work. She must be exhausted from the late night she had. She normally doesn't stay up that late. I brushed it off thinking it was nothing to be too concerned about.

I slip on my shoes and head out the door. My hoodie strings bounce on my chest as I begin to jog to work. The smell of rain dances through my nose as the wet cement splashes beneath me. My sneakers become wet from the puddles. The leaves on the trees place drops on my mead making my hair wet. I lift my hood. I didn't feel like getting wet again.

I arrive at work panting. I don't normally jog for that long, but then again I don't normally jog at all. I don't have enough time in my day to exercise. My job is hard enough. I'm greeted by Cole, his expression the same as always, emotionless.

"Good job, you actually came to work on time." He says, no emotion coming out, but you can tell he is trying.

"I don't need the sarcasm today. I hardly got any sleep as it is." I responded. I was exhausted, i didn't wanna work at all.

"Someones a cranky cuss. Im sure the boss wont like you acting that way two the customers." He Joked.

"I wont give attitude to the customers. Thats common sense for anyone that likes making money." I responded by pulling out my notepad and pencil. I walk over to a few tables and collect their orders before giving them to Cole.

"Its decently busy today, hopefully they give decent tips." I tell cole. Cole just shrugs and keeps cooking the food that was ordered of him. I turn and look at all the customers siping on their pop waiting for their meal.

My phone buzzes in my pocket. Seth texted again. He's probably wondering when we are going to meet up. To my surprise it wasn't.

"Hey ill come pick you up from your work." He sent. How the hell did he know where I worked? Maybe he came here before and he was one of the customers that I didn't focus on much. I was just over reacting. I take a deep breath and respond.

"I just got to work half an hour ago. I'm not sure my boss will like it too much." I click send and the woosh sound indicates it went through. I was surprised with how fast he responded.

"Don't worry. I've got you covered." He responded. The doorbell jingled and he walked in with a smile. His Abes showed through his tight black shirt. His hoodie was unzipped and everyone looked at him in aw.

"Lets get out of here." His deep voice was deep and so mesmerizing. I absolutely loved everything about him. I hung up my apron and hat then walked towards him. He grabbed my hand gently and lead me out of the dinner.

"So what are you wanting to do?" I asked. He smiled revealing his pearl white teeth. His teeth looked a little sharp, almost as if they were vampire teeth. That made him even more hot then he already was. I always love any good story involving vampires. Sadly vampires aren't real.

"Well i was thinking i could take you shopping. I remember how much you told me you wanted some new clothes." He answered. I couldn't believe it. He was willing to take me shopping. But I didn't have my wallet. I had forgotten it at home.

"I would but I dont have my wallet." I Say a little disappointed in myself.

"Don't worry. I'll pay for you. I have enough money sitting around to get you whatever you want." he Offered. I was surprised. No one ever offered to spend money on me. I was a little happy but also felt a little guilty.

"Are you sure you're willing to pay for me?" I ask. I wanted to make sure he meant what he said. I was never sure about anything.

"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I wanna treat such a beautiful girl?" He answered Tucking a strand of my light brown hair behind my ear. I look away out of embarrassment. My heart had gotten the better of me again. Everyone always told me I fall in love easily but it was hard not to fall for someone like Seth.

"Well, if your willing too, let's go shopping!" I hug Seth as he picks me up in his arms, placing me in the passenger side of his car.

"Today is all about you darling." He said closing the door. I think someone that hot had something to hide. A voice inside me told me that he was up to no good. I ignored that voice, thinking it was nothing. I was probably just thinking about all my other lovers that have wronged me.

He hopped in the car and placed the key in the ignition making the engine come to life. He punched the vehicle into drive and pulled out of the parking lot. The air made my hair flow in the sunlight. Never knew Seth drove a porsche. I always thought that his kind of vehicle would have been something more classic, like a Ford, or a GMC.

"Someones enjoying herself already. We only just started driving." Seth pointed out. He smiled and kept his focus on the road. I smiled back and closed my eyes to enjoy the sunshine while I could. I was surprised of how sunny it was considering how long it had rained for the previous day.

"Im just enjoying the sunshine is all. I don't get much time off of work." I respond. Seth facial expression changed. He didn't seem too impressed about the fact i work so much.

"Well if you every need a break, feel free to contact me. I'm always free to talk. And get you out of working."
