We walked over towards her and gave her what happened. "We must settle this in a better way, Dawnstar." I said with a compassionate look. "The result could be better, this clan will be destined to doom if we continue. My mother and grandmother are both elders due to the war they had to fight for nothing!" "I understand where you're coming from but so far no clan is in any state to talk about it. I respect your courage greatly but this is not something that can be fixed in a flash." she said. Her words were wise but why so unmovable? The clan could be in more harm without talking about than a simple argument with the leaders. " Shadowstorm, go see Moonscare, she is waiting." "Yes Dawnstar" Shadowstorm meowed, giving me a guilty look. I knew he was trying to say good luck but also hoping I wasn't getting all the blame. " Come in my den and sit, we have much to discuss." She had forgiven what I said about my dreams and was talking to me like a deputy. " Starclan has blessed us dearly with calm borders, lots of kits, and plenty of food. Thunderclan will prosper more and more. But this also means bringing troubled times. Nothing is just simple. We have a new destiny now but someone has to lead us." she gave a big sigh and continued. "The reason I'am confining in you is because Starclan has sent me a dream. In the dream I was spinning looking around the camp. Then I stopped and it landed on you. You were cherry and talking but showing fierce expressions. And a....a voice said you were the new destiny. I couldn't figure out how but you are going to be someday." I stared in disbelief. Why me? " I am starting to take an interest in your dreams Willowpaw." She said with a curious eye. " What has been your latest dream?" " Well it was Firestar again, and he told us the clans will turn against each other, and destroy each other, but then fight side by side to defeat a band of rogues that was led by Drakenfur in thunderclan territory. It would be a while for everyone." She looked very strange as if she didn't believe it. "I won't hold anything against him, for now. If he acts up I will notice but trust me he is no traitor. Maybe it was another cat. Maybe Yellowstripe. They do look alot alike." This was true. Maybe it was. "Do I have permission to come talk any time?" I asked. "Any time." she nodded and dismissed me.

My scarpes started to feel like a blade cutting deep into my skin. Me and Dawnstar had talked for a while. As I hurried on to Moonscares den I noticed Flowerkit and Lightkit playing together. " Did you hear? We'll be made an apprentice soon!" meowed Lightkit. " Really!? I bet you'll be the best warrior ever!" Flowerkit said. I sadly thought about the war and troubled times we would have to go through. Lightkit might know about it, but probably never thought she would be fighting in it. It made me think back to what Dawnstar said, "I would be guiding us to a new destiny." I shook all these thoughts and worries off and walked over to Moonscares den. Shadowstorm was just heading out. "Hey! How did it go.?" he asked eagerly. " Well quite odd, but I wasn't in trouble. She is very troubled about it after I told her some,,,uhhh... things." I didn't want to share that I was having dreams with just anyone. Shadowstorm could be trusted and I would tell him sometime soon, just not in this circumstance and not now. " Well I gotta go. I'am starving!" he hurried off over to the fresh kill pile. As I walked in Daisypaw came out from nowhere and made me jump. "Willowpaw! I've been waiting for what feels like moons for you to come! My gosh you have terrible scratches! I hope they are not infected! We don't have any goldenrod and we can't collect any more because it's almost sunset, and it grows near the Windclan border!" she sounded just like Runningfeather. Always making a fuss and scolding but coming back with a sweet tone. She hurried around the den checking me over, getting leafs ,checking me getting seeds. She made me dizzy just watching. " OWWW" I hissed as she stuck a leaf with slimy stuff on it on my shoulder. "It's a dock poultice, with moss and catchweed on top. It should help keep the infection from spreading but, you'll need some goldenrod when we get some, to clear up that infection." she said, sharpening her tone. Then she gave me sunflower seeds to chew. " Don't waste time! Eat or you'll feel more pain than ever!"I quickly chewed the seed with hardly any growling. " Why can't I feel my shoulder?" I said. " It numbed it so you wouldn't feel the stinging as it was killing the infection that could have set in." "Now go , eat and get some rest." she said with a kind look. As I finished eating my rat , I hurried into the apprentices' den. I was super tired beyond everything else. I hoped Barkstripe would be willing to train me.
