After waking up with a scare I decided to just go on with my day like any other. After finishing my bowl of cheerios, I got dressed in a black skirt and a pink shirt. By the time I was dressed I only had fifteen minutes to get to school.

"I'm going to school mom!" I shouted as I picked up my bag. She popped her head out from the kitchen and smiled warmly at me

"Okay honey, if you find out you have any extra stuff after school just text me, I might not answer right away cause I'll be at work" she spoke with a smile. She was chill like this, I barely ever got grounded and didn't get yelled at in less I ran off without telling her. She was quite nice about it even when I did something.

"Sure mom" I smiled and slung my bag over my shoulder as I walked out the door. The door accidentally slammed behind me when I left. I only had 10 minutes to get to my first class which was 11th grade biology. The teacher, Mr. Bradford, wasn't very kind to those who ended up late to his class. I ran as fast as I could through the trees and past houses. ---------------------------------------

Finally I made it to class. I ended up being 5 minutes late, so I quietly walked into class and to my seat in the back

"Miss Smith it seems your late once again," Mr. Bradford announced in a evil attempt to embarrass me. I stopped not even making it to my desk, I huffed.

"It seems so, Mr. B" I retorted obviously annoyed and reluctant to. After saying that I went and sat in my desk completely unfocused on the lesson he was teaching. I just kept doodling in my notebook when the bell rang I noticed had drawn the woman from a few nights ago.

The next few classes went by in a blur, I was completely unfocused and confused, that woman was always on my mind and millions of questions always played in my head, I always tried to ignore them like I have all day, but it gets hard when you can barely focus on the other stuff going on around. I sat at a empty table on my own at lunch, this was the same as every day. Always alone, no one talked to me, they called me the weird geek, cause I loved to sit in the library, I could spend hours in the library reading, weather in was fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, or even fantasy novels. Today I just went with "the city of bones". I wasn't in the mood to try and look through the thousand books that adored this massive library.
