Five years later, the kingdom of Dark Night was as peaceful as ever.
Sonistasia and Knuckles are the kingdoms King and Queen. Just after becoming King and Queen of the Dark Night Kingdom, they got married.
Shadow and Sonia went off to China after Amos and Mariana's wedding.
It wasn't long until Queen Snowflake finds her match and has a son of her own.
Sonistasia gave birth to a a beautiful baby girl named Lera.
The kingdom fell in love with the new princess. During that time, Sonistasia and Knuckles also gained 5 more daughters (a pair of triplets included).
Half of them are echidnas the other half are hedgehogs.
They had extraordinarily colorful dragon wings and breathed multicolored fire breath. Lera grew into a graceful princess.
But on the fifth year, they had another daughter (hedgehidna) named Grace.
On the day Grace was born, everyone was happy 'Lera and her 5 sisters included'.
Sonistasia held the baby in her arms as Knuckles commented, "She's beautiful honey."
Sonistasia replied, "I know. As beautiful as our 6 darling daughters."
Lera asked, "Daddy? Is it time yet?"
Knuckles answered, "Not yet sweetie. We haft to wait until our subjects arrive."
That was when Lera's little triplet sisters 'Lily, Orchid, and Blossom' walked in giggling.
Lera turns to them and said, "I see you three there."
The triplets walked to her as Lily replied, "Hey. Can't blame us."
Orchid looks around and asked, "Where's Isabelle, Cinder, and Stella?"
Lera replied to her, "Probably sleeping late. Mind getting them? The ceremony will start any minute now."
Orchid let out an exciting 'okay' before flying upstairs.
Sonistasia giggled as Baby Grace opened her beautiful eyes as she yawned and stretched.
Knuckles smiled at her and said, "Aww, she has both our eye colors."
Sonistasia nodded and replied, "I agree. She is a combination of us."
That was when Orchid came back with 3 of her sisters before all 6 princesses looked at Grace as their hearts melt at the beautiful little baby.
Lera said to them, "Daddy she's beautiful."
Knuckles looks at his daughter and replied, "As beautiful as all of you."
Sonistasia nodded and kissed his cheek. That was when Sonistasia's handmaiden 'now a nanny for her daughters' (Tailya) entered and said, "Come on your majesties. It's time."
The royal family stood up and walked outside, the people of the kingdom were amazed as they caught a glimpse of the youngest princess 'beauty'.
Sonistasia spread her wings as Knuckles and the 6 girls did and said, "People of the Dark Night Kingdom. Let it be known far and wide that our youngest princess is born. Princess Grace."
The people chatter before clapping and cheering.
To this day, Knuckles was happy to be with his queen and 7 daughters. He wouldn't trade it for the world. But the Green Leaf Kingdom and Golden Lightning Kingdom are still in battle.
He and Sonistasia hoped that one day they can patch things up with the kingdoms and peace will be achieved completely.
Though the 7 dragon princesses are going to be the ones to make that possible. But that's another story for another time.
