Changbin was fucked, to the third degree.

He couldn't stop the tremors of fear that took over him as soon as he was ripped off the boy currently on the floor. He wasn't too concerned about him, the boy was an asshole. He was more concerned about himself. He doesn't get into trouble, much less into fights. He wasn't a fighter, he wasn't a violent person. He was never raised to be that way.

That's why he's so fucking scared.

Chan nor Minho taught any of their children that resorting to violence was okay. While Minhos thinking process was definitely broad in terms with fighting and when it was good to do so, Chan despised any form of aggression. He hated the thought of his kids, his little ones, being the reason for another persons pain. Now, self defense is okay, but flat out fighting might as well be illegal.

Changbin could barely register being brought to the nurses office, didn't know he was bleeding until the started to wipe the blood off. He wasn't aware of the situation around him, because upon further realization thanks to that of his own mind, it was him who threw the first punch. It was Changbin who initiated the fight, it was Changbin who made it into a brawl in the first place.

It was Changbin who put his hands on another person with the full intention to hurt.

Everything after that was a mind numbing blur. He felt like he was under water, like his ears were full of cotton and he couldn't get away. Chan was going to be so disappointed. Minho—oh god, what would Minho think? His little Changbin, at school beating up other students over some minuscule teasing. God, they would see him as a totally different person. He wasn't their sweet bunny anymore, he was a monster, a fighter.

He vaguely recognized the administrator sitting him down in the principals office, alongside the kid he fought with not long before. He wasn't busted black and blue, just a split lip and a bloody nose. Changbin was small injuries too. A black eye, a bloody nose and his ears were a little bruised, but otherwise he was fine.

The principal picked up the phone, and Changbin knew it was his father on the line based on the heavy bass in the background. Changbin curled up as small tears made their way to the forefront. His dad, the person he strives to be exactly like, was being called off of work to come pick up Changbin from school, because he got into a fight.

Changbin hoped that Minho would come too, because while he hates disappointing his parents, he would rather disappoint them both at the same time rather than disappointing them separately. All of this trouble, being called out of work, driving to the middle school, all to pick their adopted son for starting a fight with another student all because he was just teasing him.

If Changbin had to fight his case — which he probably wouldn't, in fear of saying the wrong thing and making his parents even more angry — he would say that the boy was making fun of them. Making fun of him. Changbin was more than used to being called short, because he was small, he was a bunny, but calling his parents disgusting and 'a couple of appalling fags' set him off.

While Changbin was big on his own personal thoughts and opinions, he knew that no matter how he looked at it, being gay would never be seen as a problem. There was nothing wrong with being gay, there was nothing wrong with being straight. Or if you're someone in between the spectrum, it was still valid. Changbin felt strongly about it, because he has to parents of the same gender that are stupidly in love with each other.

Speaking of, the main couple on his mind just walked into the room.

Minho looked worried beyond belief, immediately zoning in on the injuries adorning his son's face. Chan held his emotions better than his husband did, but he was still worried. Changbin could feel his nose start to twitch thanks to his nerves. His nose should've stopped twitching years ago, but it was just something he never grew out of.
