Beginning of the end.

Pt. 1

On the Jc Jenson space station, Vex and J are both in the shooting range.

J:"For a new model, you are a horrible shot."

Vex:"I-I only just l-learned how to sh-shoot."

J scoffs a bit.

J:"Your programmed to shoot, toaster. That's your model."

Vex:"Y-yeah, but not p-precision shooting!"

J:"You still need to ai-"

The announcement bell rings and the speaker clicks on.

Speaker:"All teams please report to the ejection facility."

J:"Ugh! We're getting deployed now!?"

At the Deployment Center, all teams are present and in their areas.

Vex:"Hey Hollow, any idea where we're going?"

Hollow:"For the last time Vex, I'm not a higher up. I have no idea."

Vex:"Oh... does any-"

Everyone:"NO, Vex."

Vex:"S-sorry..."

The captain of the station walks on the stage.

Captain:"All teams, ATTENTION!"

The teams look up at him and the chatter dies down.

Captain:"Ah, finally...  as I was trying to say, as of today, all teams will be deployed to eliminate every. Single. Worker drone. On this planet. Best of luck. All teams please head towards their respective pods."

The squads all head to their pods.

Caller:"Team Alpha!"

Alpha boards their pod and launches towards Copper-9.

Etc Etc.

Eventually, our team is chosen.

Vex:"I'm excited!"

Lumen:'Why...? This'll take years..."

Mila:"give it a break, El! It's his first assignment ."

Hollow:"She's not wrong."

Lumen:"Fine."

BANG!

The pod has launched.

(1 HOUR LATER)

BOOOM!

Vex:"OH ROBO JESUS!"

 Hollow:"LUMEN DID YOU JUST CRASH!?"

Lumen:"No... welcome to Copper-9..."

Mila:"Why are you so rude?"

Lumen:"Deal with it."
