•Chapter 8:-Attempt to Survive

With Jimin,Yoongi,Jungkook and Minho:-

Minho:- Jimin Hyung.....do you have any idea where Jin Hyung would be??? Would everything be ok with them?

Jimin:- Yeah they did call me to inform that they ran out of the fuel and made a small stop at the supermarket.

Suga:-(worriedly) I think we should call them once-

(Suga was cut off mid sentence as a white Lexus made its way to their direction. Jin swiftly stepped off the paddle and told Jk and Minho about Chanyeol's condition.)

(Everyone gets of the car with a gloomy expression on their face. Jin and Taehyung carry Chanyeol and explain the ordeal while the others take refuge in the ferry.)

Jungkook:- Alright Chanyeol.....You have broken your Tibia in a transverse .....just a small surgical process is to be done and you will be good.

I would need some surgical metal rods and wires,a sterile gauge,the scalpel, sutures, surgical plate and alcohol to use for sterilization as well as pain.

*Note:- Slight details of Medical Procedure Ahead. I am NOT a medical student so the details here could be a bit inaccurate. I wrote this on my own knowledge so please be considerate.*

Minho carries Chanyeol to the ferry's cabin which wasn't very clean but was enough to carry out the procedure.

Jungkook begins the procedure.....he sterilizes his hands after wearing gloves and also sterilizes the leg...he slowly cuts open the layers of the skin one by one to reach the Tibia.

He slowly moves on to place the metal rod carefully between the two bones and secures it with medical wires.

All the while he tells Chanyeol to drink alcohol since they couldn't find an anesthesia. He then goes on to put the metal plate to ensure the protection of the wound and slowly stitches up the layers of skin using the sutures.

Chanyeol passes out due to the pain and Minho treats his other minor scratches while Jungkook goes to check on others inside.

*End of Medical Procedure*

Jimin notices the gloomy atmosphere and asks about the reason to it from them.

Jisoo:- Uh...we lost two of our friends at the mart.

Somi:-(shakily) They were our best friends!

Jimin :- My condolences but how did this happen?

Flashback:-

Hyunjin:-(loudly) Jin Sir please stop the car! It's not right for me to be on this abode full of survivors......

Somi:-(disbelief) What -

(Hyunjin lifts his sleeves to reveal the ugly bite mark that is now spreading over his entire arm leaving everyone speechless......Jin halts the car to give it a good look and helplessly glances back to the former's emotionless eyes.....)

Jisoo:-(whispers) No please tell me this is a prank.....this isn't true....it can't be!

Chanyeol:-(hesitant) The affection is spreading fast.......can't we treat him......will amputating his arm stop the infection dr.Jin?

Jin:-(dazed)I-I don't think it would work......the infection has spread far beyond and even amputating won't stop it......the only way.....

Hyunjin:-(emotionless) -to eliminate me. You need to kill me before I turn into that mindless creature.......I had rather die than murder so many people....

(Without a word Somi stretches out her hand to the back sitting on Taehyung's lap and takes out a knife before plunging it into his brain. Cutting his nerve supply and further spreading of infection.
