When the day finally arrived for Dr. Choi So-Sung Mo to start the procedure, he had everything prepared and planned out. EKG heart monitors, IV fluids, medication drugs, and anything else he might need. The handsome, profound medical doctor was going to do everything in his power to make his patient his. 5 minutes had already passed. He went ahead and scanned the list of his patients he had clipped to his clipboard. There was no sign of his patient. Was she running late? Or did she not want to go see this doctor who had a dark, sinister personality? He glanced at his medical chart a second time.

Patient showing several signs of unsuspecting headache and insomnia... Has a hard time differentiating what's real and what's imaginary. Could this be related to a sign of a psychotic disorder? Psychosis! Perfect. Well Kim YJ-ssi... looks like this is your lucky day. I know just the very thing to help your mind at ease.

Still standing in front of the doorway entrance, Kim YJ was still unsure about going in. She stared at the door and sighed. You can do this, YJ. You can do this. What's there for you to be scared of? It's only therapy. Unless... it's not what it seems. What if this place is actually a medical asylum where you become part of a dangerous experiment? No, no. Don't be silly. There's no way that's possible. Once this is over, youʼll be out of here in no time not remembering any of this.

Gathering up her utmost courage and bravery, Kim YJ was ready to go through the procedure. Little did she know she was about to get her world turned upside down through psychotic therapy. She wasn't just at a medical clinic. She was actually at a hypnotic medical clinic. A clinic... Known for hypnotic medical experimentation. The doctor she was about to see was no ordinary medical doctor. He was actually an evil hypnotic experimental specialist. YJ had two options. Turn and run... or accept her fate. She inhaled, slowly opening the clinic door.

Before long, the bell to the front door of the medical clinic rang. So Sung Mo peeked through the slit open door of his office secretly observing his patient sitting just outside the waiting room. A feral grin slowly formed on his lips.

So Sung Mo's inner thoughts

As Yu-Jin waited, she heard a voice, "Kim Yu-Jin-ssi?" Yu-Jin looked up to see Seo Moon Jo. "What are you doing here?" she asked. Was it really the meticulous Seo Moon Jo she saw or was it her imagination?

Staring at the handsome doctor, Kim YJ stared at him in awe and fright. "You... You're—" Upon seeing the man who killed her mother 12 years ago, YJ fainted. So Sung Mo carried the unconscious YJ, laid her down on an examination table and strapped her down as he started drawing blood. As Yu-Jin slowly regained consciousness, she screamed through her gag. Moon Jo shushed as he gently caressed her face. "Shhhh... Isn't it nice to see that you can trust me? You'll enjoy this very soon."

Back outside his thoughts, So Sung Mo sighed as he didn't think he would have any need to go that far. At least... Not yet. He was aware he needed to get a blood sample from Yu-Jin but at a much later basis.

He gathered himself together as he went outside his office and into the waiting room.

Yu-Jin looked at her phone where she left Shin Daek-Seng a text message.

Yu-Jin: How's the investigation going? Have you gotten a lead as to who's been murdering innocent civilians?
Daek-Seng: Not yet. As far as I can see I have no clue who to suspect. As a police officer and your guardian, it's my job to ensure you don't get hurt and scour the area for suspicious people. I'll see what I can dig up. It may be that I missed a suspect.
Yu-Jin: Okay. Notify me once you get a lead.

"Kim Yu-Jin-ssi?" said a male voice. That voice. I... I know I've heard it somewhere. I clearly heard that voice before. Upon hearing his familiar voice, Yu-Jin knew that voice was strikingly familiar. But where? Why did this voice sound so familiar? Could it be? Was it... him? The man... From 12 years ago? The man who... killed her mother?

There's only one person who has that distinct, deep and husky voice.

No... It couldn't be.
