On a sun-drenched beach, a girl named Samaya lay comfortably on her towel, basking in the warmth. Nearby, her friend stood by a vending machine, perusing the variety of ice cream flavors displayed.

"Samaya, do you want hazelnut as always or something different today?" her friend called out.

Samaya turned her head around, shielding her eyes from the sun with one hand. "Wait, let me check the flavors myself," she replied, pushing herself up and walking over to join her friend at the machine. There were over 40 different possibilities, so Samaya usually opted for her favorite hazelnut ice cream. However, today she craved a change. Her routine had become monotonous, and she found herself growing bored with it.

Since her boyfriend had left, staying at home had become uncomfortable. To avoid the loneliness, she chose to spend her evenings at the beach after work. Yet, even this daily visit to the beach was beginning to lose its charm. She stood in front of the vending machine, determined to break free from her usual patterns and find something new to savor.

Her friend glanced at her with concern. "You've been visiting the beach every day for two years. I understand that you're depressed since he left you on Christmas, but you need to cheer up."

Her friend took out a scroll filled with letters written in an ancient language. "Because you don't have magic," her friend began, "I made you something to have fun tonight. If you rip it inside the water, it'll call dolphins trained to be ridden. But make sure no one is around you; I'm not allowed to hand these over."

Samaya's eyes lit up with excitement. She nodded enthusiastically as she snatched the scroll from her friend's hand. "I promise!" she said with a wide smile, feeling a rush of anticipation for the adventure awaiting her.
