In the infirmary, Chancellor Sheppard stood at (Y/N)'s bedside, where the latter was currently resting. After his duel with the Imitator of the Dead and that impressive display of power, he had lost consciousness. A heart monitor to which he was connected beeped slowly and steadily as (Y/N) lay there.
"How is he, Miss Fontaine?" Chancellor Sheppard asked.
"Well..." she began.
But before she could answer, the infirmary doors opened as Jaden, Syrus, Chumley, Bastion and Alexis entered the infirmary. Sheppard and Fontaine looked up to see the group. The group of children looked distraught at the state (Y/N) was in.
"(Y/N)!" shouted the children as they ran to his bedside.
"What are you all doing here?" Chancellor Sheppard asked.
"We're here to see how (Y/N) is, obviously. How is he Miss Fontaine?" Jaden asked as they gathered around his bed. He was paler than usual, and very weak. They weren't used to seeing him like this.
"Well, he's stable, so he's in no danger." Miss Fontaine explained.
"Thank God..." Bastion murmured.
"But, he's exhausted... very exhausted."
"When will he wake up?" Alexis asked gently.
"Within the next few days, I think."
"Thank God..." Alexis sighed. "What the Imitator of the Dead did... nobody should have to go through that."
"You're right. I'll talk it over with Crowler. Jaden, Syrus, your duel is cancelled. Enjoy your day, relax and support your friend." Chancellor Sheppard said and left the infirmary without another word. The room remained silent for a few moments before Bastion spoke again.
"Alexis, you look calm." he commented. Everyone turned to the girl sitting next to (Y/N)'s bedside, looking at him sadly.
"I'm worried about him." Alexis replied. "I lost my brother and I don't want to lose a friend either."
"Don't worry about him, Alexis." Reassured Jaden. "(Y/N) is strong. Something like this won't hold him back for long. I bet he'll be even stronger when he wakes up!"
And after reassuring his friend, Jaden set off with Syrus in the direction of the arena, with Bastion joining them to watch from the stands.

After his visit to the infirmary, Sheppard was in his office with Crowler, and Crowler wasn't happy at all.
"Vellian, I'm very disappointed in you," said Sheppard. Said Sheppard. "Not only did you bring in a mercenary duelist, but he stole a deck, impersonated (Y/N)'s dead mother. And he ended up convalescing. What do you have to say for yourself? And if you dare use the fact that he legitimately threatened you to get you off the hook, you'll regret it."
"I didn't know it was going to go this far, I swear!" Crowler shouted in despair. "I just thought he was going to scare him, which would scare her! I didn't expect him to steal the Deck! I didn't even know (Y/N) had it!"
"I should fire you for that, you know that, don't you Crowler?" Sheppard sighed.
"I know..."
"But I'm someone who believes in second chances. You can keep your job, continue to teach, supervise the students in the gym and everything else, but your Deck will be confiscated until further notice."
Crowler wanted to be indignant, but with what had happened, he knew he had to accept the sentence.
"Your status as leader of the Obelisk Blues will be on hold until the day we return your Deck. Miss Fontaine will take care of everyone until then." Continued the Chancellor as he straightened his back and crossed his fingers in front of his face. "And one last thing..."
