TO SAY THAT WAS THE WORST FLIGHT RUBY HAD EVER HAD WOULD BE . . well that would be lying. although it was painstakingly long and brain numbingly boring, ruby actually enjoyed herself.
getting to know harry better through the music he approved of or hated. to the conversations she had with him and the others sat around her. ruby found herself mostly entertained the entire flight.
the sidemen and others were all decent people with very different personalities, which, to others would be hard to keep up with, but ruby appreciated them. being able to converse with very different people about different topics, like vikks dj'ing, ruby loved music, couldn't go a day without listening to something.
callux's experience with cancer, ruby was in university doing a bachelor of nursing for two years before dropping out, she knew just how hard it was on an individual and their family.
how arthur actually had a law degree under his belt, ruby had been in a criminal justice degree for a year before also booting that off.
everyone was so different from each other but ruby could resonate with each and everyone of them in one way or another. ruby was having a fun time . .
that was until she remembered that the maldives were islands. islands that didn't really use any mode of transportation besides bikes and golf carts.
"how could you forget, the maldives are fucking islands."
taking the seat nearest to the edge of the boat, ruby took in a deep breath, "well i'm sorry that after a 18 hour flight the last thing i'm thinking about is 'oh! maybe i should buy some boat sickness tablets because i'm going to projectile vomit everywhere'!"
"ruby you know i can't do vomit." yeah . . chip did have a weak stomach when it came to that type of stuff, but ruby needed at least a little moral support.
"just get one of the drinkers to hold your hair back for you, they're used to vomit." arthur was obviously trying to make a joke but ruby took it serious, turning towards the said group of drinkers.

"yeah no, not happening." lux was quick to palm it off to someone else.
"ethan you do it, you're used to your missus throwing up." randy also quickly palming it off made ruby groan.
"it's gonna be a long 20 minutes."
"that's what you get for pregaming the trip."
