as kay continued walking thoughts of how her and dee used to have a secret fling filled her mind, being each others sneaky links in her junior year of college keeping their connection as a secret, as time went on and dee was about to graduate the links came to end and the pair went their separate ways.
soon after college graduation dee started to see key to spark jealously out of kay being that they had stopped talking kay didn't feel the need to tell key about her and dee's past. after noticing kay really didn't care anymore dee started to have genuine feelings for key and the rest was history.
kay's deep thought was abruptly interrupted as she accidentally bumped into the glass door not paying attention to how close she was, the uber-eats carrier extended his hand passing kay her wendys that she was obviously excited about.
averting his gaze somewhere else, kay took the food out of his hand and thanked the man and made her way back to her apartment quickly being that she was now very hungry.

it was now 10pm and since key started to miss her best friend due to not seeing her since the night of the kickback which was three nights ago she decided to come over, the pair was participating in drunk truth or dare and whoever refused to take a shot had to call their ex.
"okay my turn!" kay exclaimed, her excitement evident in her voice. key couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully knowing, whatever kay was about to say would be wild. "truth or dare bestie?" kay asked, pausing for moment before key confidently replied, "dare". key let out a breath that she didn't realize she was holding in
"ouu okay.. post a nude on your close friends or take a shot" kay responded making key gasp, the pair was already six shots in and knowing that they both are light weights key just decided to call her ex "ima just call my ex this point" key accepted her defeat shaking her head.
this made kay let out a slight giggle but a part of her hoped she didn't call dee, now kay was in deep thought again just thinking about their kiss. she dont know why her mind kept going to something that happen three nights ago.
