Chapter 6: Dress Shopping

Heading out with Sky, Val, and Brookes only to have a feeling of anxiety Mavis didn't like leaving her new home especially Jozzer she never liked leaving at all Sky and the other's have been convincing the girl to get out of the house for a bit just to go pick out her wedding dress for the ceremony next month.

"Babe it's gonna be okay..."

"I don't wanna go without you."

Sky and Val had an idea.

"Would you like to come along Jozzer, just for Mavis's sake and also so she can be happy."

"That's actually not a bad idea you two and of course I love to come along only for my girl here."

Mavis smiles.

Walking out of the house together with Sky and Val, Icey and Liquid were left at the house to keep an eye on everything.

Mavis turns her head suddenly seeing Michael walk down the concrete sidewalk, confused on why he's all the way out here and away from Neverland.

"Michael what are you doing out here."

"I just wanted to see you and it looks like I came at a bad time." He said.

Mavis looks at the group of friends and her husband to-be, she looks back at Michael as an idea pops into her head.

"You could tag along but you'll have to get Bill to come and get you."

"Great idea."

(At the dress shop)

"Mavis come on are you saying that there's nothing that pinches your interest."

"Sky I appreciate the concern you and Val have for me but all of these dresses look like something an old woman would wearing at a retirement party or a funeral." Mavis exclaimed.

The two girls in front of her start laughing a bit, Jozzer comes up wrapping an arm around Mavis's waist.

"She's right you two."

"Okay let's go somewhere el-..."

"No! me and Mavis can just create some creatures to make the dresses."

"Babe let's go home please." Mavis asks with a soft but anxious tone to her voice.

Jozzer nods his head looking at Mavis before looking up at Sky and Val, signaling them to take them home which they agreed to do so.

"Hold up you guys, Mavis come here." Michael said.

Mavis steps towards him still a bit confused on why he wanted her to come over to him, maybe Michael wanted to show her something.

Her eyes land on a dress that was long laced, black, long sleeved, and had a bit of blood red texture added to it she turns to Jozzer signaling him to come and see but he was already looking at what she was looking at which was surprising.

There were two other dresses that were both standing they were different colors, left dress was pink and magenta, right dress was both light and dark green with a bit of black edges Sky and Val of course picked them out and paid fairly for the two dresses.

Michael offered and insisted to pay for Mavis's wedding dress she allowed him to do so since they've been good friends, there was no damn way she was not going to decline his offer so after he had paid for the dress the group all walked out of the store and after the two men got themselves along with Icey and Liquid a suit for the ceremony.

They headed home of course Michael had to go back to Neverland, he gave Mavis a friendly hug and a kiss on the cheek saying goodbye promising her that he will come and visit the girl or maybe come to the wedding which Mavis gave him an invitation before getting into Sky's car where both Sky, Val, and Jozzer were waiting for the bride to-be.
