The prey vs the predator
The night strikes, as the woman emerges from her miseries, bathed by scars and blood, her face tainted by those memories which she wanted to forget. She retrieves the bottle, placing the it in her hand as she chants the mantra. The predator takes over her, slithering around and enveloping her mind.
Here, the prey is the woman, and the predator is the snake. The snake is a representation of the one she wants to become as she doesn't want to be the prey anymore. Hence, she chants the mantra. Half of her face shows the scars (indicated by the blood) and the other half shows her partial transformation. The moon behind her is a partial indication of how much she's done with the transformation.
