And so they all prepared themselves for the end-of-year party they were invited to. A few went full out on the looks while the others opted for a more casual look.

Despite having the choice to wear what they fancied, IDs were a must.

They all arrived at their said destination - Ezre Hall - either alone or as groups of three or four.

It wasn't unanticipated of them to fall starstruck at the monumental building that stood in front of them. Intricate and lavish architecture made the hall's exterior. The designs were antique.

Obviously.

Ezre Hall was a very popular party spot in the eighteen hundreds. Its fame was retained for decades before its shutdown in the late nineteen hundreds.

However, sources have it that the government had made a decision to re-open the hall for private uses somewhere in the early twenty tens.

...

Or have they?

:)

"Your invitation, please."

Spoke one of the two men standing on either side of the grand entrance.

The men were tall, very tall. Full black tuxedos adorned their body. Their hair was neatly gelled and slicked back. Plain white masks covered their faces with no holes, even for their eyes and nose.

In conclusion, they looked rather...creepy.

Shaking off the uncanny feeling the students handed their invitation to the men as the men opened the door in return, letting the students enter.

The hall was pitch black the moment they stepped in and lit up with a yellow glow the moment after.

Maki being one of the first ones to step in stood stunned at the exquisite interior of the place. Top stunned that he even failed to notice the huge doors behind him close after he entered.

The place was enormous with one single high ceiling chandelier that shone its yellow glow on the entire room. The chandelier itself was magnificent - probably richer than many people's houses.

The entire floor was adorned with a velvet - maroon coloured - carpet. There stood four large pillars on every cover of the rectangle shaped room - each of it containing sculpted designs on it. The crevices of those designs were filled with gold - actual gold.

The walls were of a rich pearl-white colour with small lamps that cast a dim white glow adorning it. The ceiling itself was a work of art with paintings from the eighteen-hundreds filling every inch of it.

"Wow.."

Maki let out in awe. Just then, he felt a hand on his shoulder. With a little flinch he turned around..

"Hey, dude!"

..and was greeted by Jaeyun who had arrived after him.

"Look who's here on time~"
