Estelle had History homework. However, since her teacher, Ms. Collie, was a nice teacher, the homework was easy. Finding out about your family tree. Obviously, to find that, communication with your parents was required. Which Estelle did not have often. Because her father, Tony Stark, never spoke to her unless necessary, her mother, Janie Roche, was dead, and her stepmother, Pepper Potts, was simply too nice. Mrs. Potts was a good enough stepmother, but Estelle had never been to comfortable around her, simply because she was the wife of Tony Stark and the mother of Morgan Stark.

Estelle took a deep breath and waved at the other Avengers as they left her at the Stark family home. Estelle stepped into the house, met with loud squealing. Morgan was hugging a mini Iron Man suit and beaming at her father. "Thank you, thank you, daddy!"

"What's that?" Estelle asked, her heart freezing.

"Your little sister's half-birthday gift!" Mrs. Potts replied, then laughed. "It's so lovely, don't you think, Essie?"

Estelle paused for a moment. "Yeah. It is."

A few hours later, Estelle finally came downstairs with a piece of paper. "Dad, could you help me with this assignment--"

"Not now, Estelle. Can't you see I'm busy?" was her father's impatient response. "Busy" was one word for it. Another few words would be "Lounging on the couch drinking coffee."

At that moment, Peter Parker stepped into the room. The atmosphere changed almost immediately. "Hello, Mr. Stark!"

     "Parker! Glad to see you."

"Ah, Mr. Stark, there's this question I have on my Physics homework--"

"Say less! Come sit. I'll help."

Estelle turned on her heel, storming out of the room. Mrs. Potts, watching from the doorframe, called, "Essie, sweetheart, do you need anything?"

"Forget it!" Estelle snapped. She ran up to her room. Obviously, her father was too busy helping wannabe Peter Parker to remember her. Annoyed and frustrated, Estelle turned to the only thing that could help with her History homework--google.

She spent a lot of time searching on google, and eventually managed to fill out her entire family tree. Without her father's help. She let out a hum of satisfaction and dropped the sheet into her backpack.

"ESSIE! DINNER!" Mrs. Potts yelled up the stairs.

"Coming," Estelle called back. She quickly made her way down the stairs, her stomach growling. She sat at her original spot, just right of Peter. Her father sat at the head of the table, Mrs. Potts at the other side, and Morgan, of course, got a whole side to herself.

Estelle quickly dug into her meal, some burgers from In-N-Out. She finished as fast as she could, then stood to throw away her trash. She dropped her dishes into the sink and washed her hands. As she dried them off, she heard Peter ask mockingly, "Estelle Stark! When's your eighteenth birthday again, hah?"

     "May thirteenth," Estelle replied emotionlessly.

"May thirteenth!" Mrs. Potts smiled. "Why, that must be soon..." She checked her phone and her smile dropped. "But Estelle, honey, May thirteenth is today."

"Yeah, I'm aware. Today was my birthday," Estelle yawned indifferently, and went upstairs.
