Chapter Two: Knight In Shining Armor

Kelsey was so infatuated with Landon. His short black hair, his beautiful face, his sexy voice...everything

"You good?" She heard Landon say, which snapped her out of zoning out

"Yeah, I'm good" Kelsey replied, trying not to show how much she was blushing

"Kourtney's been hyping you up whenever she talks about you and...she's not wrong. You're gorgeous" he says

Kelsey felt like she'd died and gone to heaven. THE Landon Barker just called HER gorgeous. She felt her cheeks growing hotter and butterflies dancing around in her stomach

"T-thank you.. you're not so bad yourself" she replied, trying so hard not to show how much she was blushing

"No problem. Let me give you my number so we can hang out sometime" Landon said, pulling out his phone to give Kelsey his number

"Sure. I'd love to hang out sometime" she replied as she gave him her number

"Cool, I'll see you later" Landon said before going to talk to Kourtney, leaving her and Alabama alone again

"Girl, you like Landon, don't you" Alabama said, giggling

"What? No, I barely know him" Kelsey replied, trying to sound as truthful as possible, although that was impossible because she's always been a terrible liar

"Oh please, you were blushing like crazy the entire time. It's so obvious you like him" Alabama teased

"Alright fine...I like Landon, but don't tell him that" Kelsey groaned softly, annoyed at how bad she is at lying

"Don't worry, girl, my lips are sealed. Your secret is safe with me" she replied

The rest of the party went as it normally does: drinking, dancing, laughing, talking, getting drunk, etc

Once the party was over, Kelsey was getting ready for bed by showering, doing her skincare, removing her makeup, getting into pyjama's etc and she couldn't stop thinking about that fact that Landon called her gorgeous

Kelsey has always been a bit insecure and self-conscious about her appearance, and she never thought of herself as gorgeous, so hearing Landon say it definitely made her feel some type of way

Right as she was about to go to bed, she heard a knock at her door

"Come in" she said as she finished brushing her teeth

The door opened, and in walked her oldest sister Kourtney

"Hey Kourt" she said

"Hey, how'd you like Travis, Landon, and Alabama? I saw you talking to Alabama and Landon, and you seemed to be having a good time" Kourtney said

"Yeah, they're really nice. Hoping to become good friends with Alabama and Landon" Kelsey replied as she exited her bathroom

"And...I saw how much you were blushing when you were talking to Landon" Kourtney teased

"Who wouldn't when he calls you gorgeous?" She groaned softly

"He called you gorgeous?" Kourtney asked

"Yeah, and he gave me his number saying he wants to hang out sometime" she replied

"Damn, he's probably into you" she replied

"You think so?" Kelsey asked a bit, shocked that anyone would like her romantically

"Yeah, why else would he call you gorgeous and want to hang out with you at some point?" Kourtney asked

Kelsey shrugged. "I don't know, maybe he was just being friendly."

Kourtney laughed. "He couldn't take his eyes off you, girl. He was practically drooling"

"Really?" Kelsey asked

"Yes! He was totally into you" Kourtney said

"I hope that's true...he's so hot" Kelsey said

"Have faith, Kelsey. You're prettier than you think" Kourtney said

"Thanks, Kourt. Goodnight, I love you" Kelsey said

"Love you too Kels. Sweet dreams...about Landon" Kourtney couldn't resist the urge to tease Kelsey

Kelsey groans "Oh my god Kourt"

Kourtney snickers, "Hey, I'm not wrong, you're totally gonna dream about Landon tonight" she said as she left her room

Right as Kelsey got in bed and was about to turn the light off, her phone buzzed with a notification. She reached over to her bedside table and grabbed it, and she saw that she had a text message from Landon

Landon: "Hey, I just wanted to say I had a great time tonight. Can't wait to hang out more. "

Kelsey instantly felt butterflies in her stomach and felt her cheeks redden. She hoped Kourtney's right about Landon
