CHAPTER ONE

Olivia's POV

It was time to go hunt for some flesh. Haha. Wonder what I will find this time. Last time, I found a guy who was about 28. He was fighting with his wife, beating her so when he came out of the house to go to his friends' house, I bit him. Blood went everywhere. Best one I had caught this month.

About his wife, well, I couldn't kill her because she was already calling the cops after I went behind a tree and waited for her to come out. After the cops shown up, I ran.

I was a vampire. I was as pale as snow. My fangs were permanent. Unless...we'll talk about that later. My hair was dark brown. It was a mess all the time. I don't know why though. My hands were stained with blood, me being so busy that I don't have time to clean them. Sometimes I would come back to my mansion (that was filled with vampires) with blood all over my face. In my opinion, I think I looked hot. I was also over 300 years old in vampire years. I'm about 21 in human years.

I loved being a vampire and all but there were some rules if being one. One, we cannot be seen by ANY humans. Obviously. Two, we CANNOT date any humans. Lastly three is, you are not allowed to turn human. Oh yeah, we can turn human. But it's basically illegal in "vampire world." And if we did turn human, we couldn't turn back. That's why it became a rule.

Right now, I was sneaking around looking for my snack. That was until I heard rustling in the bushes. A bunny pops out from being in it, running towards a sound of giggles and laughter. It was like an angel was singing. It was beautiful.

I sneak around, hiding behind trees, grabbing onto them with my pale hands. I look and I see a beautiful woman. She looked 19. Straight teeth, beautiful smile. Long hair that was below her boobs. It was a beautiful brown color with a little bit of highlights. Her lips were tinted pink and they were mostly thin. There was a little plump though. Especially on her bottom lip. She had dimples that were deep. She was wearing a black crop top that had straw straps and black ripped jeans that had metal chains all over. I would probably get hurt if I touched it. She was wearing black plain boots. She looked hot, but adorable.

Liv! You aren't supposed to think like that! You can't like humans. Humans are bad! Angry all the time.

But this human looked majestic. And her voice made a lovely sound, I only wanted to hear. Her smile was so beautiful. I wanted her to smile at me--wait! Stop, Olivia! I can't think like that about humans. It's against the rules.

The creature was playing with five little animals. A bunny, a baby deer, a stray kitten that was black, a baby hedgehog, and a baby chipmunk. She was having fun just playing with the animals.

She looks very calm and gentle.

Suddenly a guy appears. He look the same age as the majestic human. He had raven hair that looked completely black. He was slim and had good posture. He looks like a good target. I'll lure them with my vampire powers which was mind control.

I accidentally make noise by stepping on a branch that had fallen off the tree making the humans look everywhere, wondering where the sound came from.

"What was that?" The girl said, looking a bit frightened. The guy puts a hand on her back, reassuringly. I glare at him.

"Probably just another animal, Nessa." He answers.

Nessa. What a beautiful name for beautiful lady.

Wait. Did he even give her a nickname? That's no way to treat a girlfriend.

"I don't think so." She looks at the guy with her luscious lips that I wanted to put my own on. "What if someone is here?" The beautiful lady looks so worried.

I liked her, but then again, I wanted nothing more than to rip her guts out.

Once again, I make a noise as I come towards the two. Damn woods.

"Nessa, it's probably another animal. Don't worry so much." He rolls his eyes.

I need to kill him.

Another minute goes by, now all I see is the two sitting down, making out.

The guy starts to run his hand up Nessa's leg, unzipping her pants. He slides his hand into her pants about to feel her but Nessa tries to stop him.

"Zach, stop." She tries again after him still doing it while kissing her. "Stop! Zach, stop! I'm not ready!"

I appear from behind the tree, looking straight into their eyes. My eyes glowing with red.

The guy stops what he was doing, looking up at me. Nessa looks at me also. Looking terrified to death. The guy keeps looking at me making Nessa turn to him with a confused look. Hmm...weird. She's not in my trance.

I grab the guy quickly pulling him towards me. I sink my fangs into his neck, making him scream out in pain. What a baby.

Nessa starts to scream. "No! Please, stop! Stop!" She screamed as I bite into her boyfriend's neck.

I look at him as I have my fangs in his neck. Well, he's dead. I remove my mouth from his neck, dropping him on the ground. Nessa looks at me in horror as tears roll down her face.

I step towards her. She backs up in fear. "That's odd. You weren't in my trance. My trance is enticing but not with you?"

"You killed my boyfriend." Nessa sobbed.

"No, mate. I saved you." Nessa looks confused by the nickname but I continue talking. "Bad guys like that need to be removed from this world."

I come closer to her making back away in fear.

"Are you going to kill me?"

"No. When someone isn't captivated by my trance, you know what that means..." I trail off. I grab onto her arm. "You're mine now, lady love."

She screams as I take off with her, using my super speed to run to the mansion.
