Whispers of my powers

Prologue

He was running. Running from his family, his life, and the world. He knew he could never escape but he could
still try.

He knew that it would all just follow him and he could never get away.
He knew all this. And one day he might stop trying. But not today.

He ran through the woods, the only thing showing him the way was the moon. He ran, he ran and didn't stop. He wouldn't stop.
This was how he escaped. How he coped. How he lived.

He ran, not caring if the trees scratched him or if he tripped. He just ran. His white hair glinted in the moonlight and the wind whistled in his ears.

He's done this every night since he was 6.

Running was all he cared about at the moment, nothing else.

He was free.

He knew it couldn't last forever. He always had to go back.

Back to his prison, his home. The place he felt the worst. Where he shed tears and blood.

He wished that he never had to go back. But for some reason he always did.

Maybe it was because they would hunt him down if he left. Or maybe it was because he couldn't leave the others to suffer.

He slowed to a stop and checked his watch.

10:37 pm.

He needed to go back soon. It was time to run again.

Part 2:

She would never leave.

No matter what anyone else thought. She was content right where she was.

She was loved, cared for, and even though many people thought she should leave she never would.

She had a home. And that's where she expected to stay. She thrived in the warmth and comfort of her surroundings.

She smiled more than anyone else she knew. And that made her smile more.

Many people accused her of being fake.

She ignored those people. Her father always told her "There will always be people who tell you that you can't do it, don't listen to them"

Those words became her life. Her glory. Her reason to go to school everyday and listen to boring lectures.

Some say she's perfect.

She used to believe them... But now?

She's not so sure.
