Tony + Jess
Tony is working on a new suit, as usual. He has been ignoring Jess ever since she went against him in Germany. (Capt: Civil war)
She's been trying her hardest to speak to him but every time she gets close, he just pushes her away again. This time she's decided to go down to his lab and confront him about the situation.
Typing in the code into the keypad of the lab that she not so nicely forced out of Vision, she huffs seeing Tony working again. She clears her throat and Tony's posture stiffens.
"What do you want Jessica." He says snappily.
"I just want to talk stark."
"Yeah well I just wanted you to be on my side for once and not go behind my back to Steve's team, but I guess we can't all get what we want." He grumbles.
"Tony I was doing what I thought was right! I agreed with Steve's argument." She stands up for herself.
"But why not just tell me you were having regrets about signing the accords Jess!?" Tony snaps.
"Because you would somehow make me feel wrong for it as usual! And I didn't want to hurt your feelings!"
"Yeah well feelings get hurt all the time! Welcome to the real world Jess. It hurt more seeing you on his side and not being able to turn and see you next to me." He argues
"Well I'm sorry okay! I'm sorry. But ignoring me isn't going to help Tony! You can't just forget I exist and runaway from your problems. It doesn't work that way!" She shouts
"I needed time to think. I can barely breathe sometimes when you're constantly on my back for validation and I can't deal with hearing your sorry's repeatedly."
She sighs at his words. "You knew what you were getting into stark. When you invited me to your little team years ago to fight ultron, you knew. When you asked me on that date, you knew. When we argued for the first time, you knew. You knew I wasn't completely sure about the accords, yet you still made me feel like I was on your side of the whole thing." She runs her fingers through her hair looking down. "Look I just wanted to say sorry. I promised Nat a training session so I'm gonna go. Again I'm sorry Tones."
