The Beginning Part 2

"WHAT!? William is your brother" Lance said

"Not so loud" Charlie said "But yes he's my brother"

"What-how-why is he evil?" Lance asked

"It happened a long time ago" Charlie said

Flashback

Charlie narrated: When we were younger me and my brother were close but that all changed when our father chose one of us to become the guardian of the gems

"Boys I think it is time for one of you to become the new guardian of the gems" Jack said

"Really but who father?" Charlie said

"Well there will be a trail of three tests that will determine who is the guardian" Jack said

"Of course I will pass them all" William said with cockiness in his voice

"We will see" Jack said

"The first test is patience" Jack said "You will wait here for chicken to come to you"

"Easy" William said

Charlie narrated: A couple hours passed by and we were still waiting for a chicken when all of a sudden a chicken came to me and William got pissed

"How come a chicken came to you!" William nearly shouted

"Well looks like Charlie wins this one" Jack said

"What?!" William said

"The second test is all about kindness" Jack said "Now you two are gonna go around helping out"

"But-" William said

"Alright then so I guess Charlie already wins because he already helped" Jack said pointing

"What?" William said looking over at his brother

"I can't believe this" William said

Charlie narrated: The next day we were gonna do the third test but that is the night my brother chose to try and steal the gems

"I don't need to do some silly test to get the gems I'll just get them tonight" William said

"William what are you doing!" Jack said

"I'm taking the gems for myself so I can be the most powerful and no one can stop me" William said about to grab the gems

Charlie narrated: Luckily I grabbed the gems just in time before he got them

"What are you doing?" William said

"Making sure you don't use the gems for evil" Charlie said

William was about to attack Charlie but Jack stopped him but William was stronger then his dad because he already took one of the gems which was purple and gave him the powers to make the villains

"Charlie run with them and hid them from your brother" Jack said

"But-" Charlie was saying

"No buts just listen to me and go!" Jack said

End of Flashback

"And I have been hiding them from my brother ever since" Charlie said

"That's awful" Lance said

"Ya but how about we keep this between me and you for now?" Charlie said

"But what about the others" Lance said
