[3] Deeds of Green Avenger

Back at the beach, everyone basically split into groups doing their own thing. Mina and Kyoka lay on their blankets either just relaxing under the umbrella or just listening to music through their earphones. Eijiro and Denki went up against Oijiro and Tenya in a game of volleyball, which got intense, especially when the score became a tie, and Tenya and Eijiro got so serious it scared their other teammates. While in the water, Tsuyu was holding Toru's hand, while Ochaco held her underneath her stomach to help support her. The two of them were helping her practice floating in the water while kicking her legs. Eventually, Ochaco would let go and let her float while Tsuyu continued holding her hands as she kicked and increased her speed. After 5 seconds of kicking with her head in the water, she raised her head and gasped before stopping.

"Great job, are you getting used to it?" Tsuyu said letting go of her hand so she can stand.

"Yeah, I feel like I am. Still getting used to keeping my face under the water though. Kind of sting my eyes," Toru said with her head down a little.

"Don't worry that part is always tricky, especially in seawater," Ochaco said giggling as she swam over to them. "But I know you can do it"

"Thanks, Ochaco," Toru said with a smile.

"Why don't we take a break and take a minute to catch our breath," Tsuyu suggested to which both girls nodded their heads. As the three of them got out of the water, they called everyone together so they can relax under the shade of their umbrellas. Eijiro brought over a container and revealed that he brought popsicles to share with everyone. Sitting on their blankets or folded-up chairs, they all looked up at the sky while listening to the waves of the ocean.

"Ha, it's totally summer, huh babe?" Mina said sitting beside Eijiro while licking her popsicle.

"Sure is," he said biting into his. "Kinda wish 'all' of us are here though"

"Right," Oijiro said turning to look at everyone while sitting beside Toru. "You guys said he had some counseling meeting"

"Yeah, talk about having it rough," Denki said before shoving his popsicle into his mouth. "Bakugo however, my guess is he's just sleeping in like he said he was gonna for the whole summer"

"What about Todoroki and Yaorouzou?" Toru asked.

"As vice-president of our class, she informed me that she was going with Todoroki's family to a resort in Okinawa," Tenya said joining in on the conversation.

"Damn, rich people sure have it easy," Mina said in slight jealously. Just then, she noticed Ochaco was just staring at the sea, still holding her popsicle in hand. Judging by how much was dripping onto the sand, she could tell she didn't have a single taste of it. "Hey Ochaco?"

Everyone stopped their talking to look at the brunette and watched as she continued to stare out into space. Tsuyu who was sitting beside her, looked closely at her face and saw that it was filled with loneliness. Using her finger, she poked her arm and said, "Hey Ochaco?"

Feeling her touch, Ochaco yelped, dropping her popsicle in the progress. She looked left and right before turning to see everyone looking at her with worried faces. Finally coming back to reality she said, "H-Huh? Oh, I'm sorry. What were we talking about?"

"Ochaco..." Tsuyu said placing a hand on her shoulder. "You were thinking about Midoriya again were you?"

In response, Ochaco's face sulked even more before turning to face the sea again, burying her face behind her legs. In an audible muffle, she said, "It's just, this is the first time we've all gone to the beach since MHO. So being here without him just feels..."

"Lonely?" Toru asked causing Ochaco to look at her. "Yeah, I felt the same way back on Floor 35th when I left the party. I thought I could handle going alone, you know solo leaving"
