Getting out of work, Minho felt exhausted.
Today was a rather long day, he had danced the entire afternoon and could feel his body tearing apart.
As much as he liked it, sometimes it just took a slight toll on his mood.
Felix and Hyunjin had noticed, obviously, they knew him by heart.
To try and cheer him up, they decided to bring him to a restaurant, an occasion to have nice food and call Chan to join them.
So here they were, sitting at the table and eating, while Minho was a bit silent.
Too silent for them to not tease him.
"How's it going with your lover boy ?" Hyunjin asked, smirking teasingly.
"Lover boy ?" Minho responded, raising an eyebrow.
"Mmh" Hyunjin hummed in responded, nodding.
And Felix giggled at that.
"I have no lover boy" He shrugged
"Really ?" Chan chuckled
"I don't" He shrugged again
"The boy your whipped for, then" Chan corrected
"Jisung ?" Minho responded, already fed up with the teasing.
Hyunjin smiled widely
"Of course" Felix responded
"Well, the usual" Minho responded unbotheredly, picking at his plate.
"Cute" Felix cooed.
"He's been pretty busy, though" Minho commented with a little sigh, opening up about his newly found doubts.
"Frustrated ?" Hyunjin asked, curious
"Yeah, kinda" Minho nodded, wincing a bit "I don't know if he's genuinely busy, or if he's avoiding me, which is kinda unsettling" He admitted.
"Why would he avoid you ?" Hyunjin frowned.
"Minho is clearly taking a lot care of him, he's been helping him around a shit ton" Chan said, explaining "Jisung can get into a shell of protection when he feels over-helped, for what Jeongin explained to me"
"Wow, he's indeed a complicated one" Hyunjin commented.
"You think that's the reason he's been so busy ?" Minho asked, turning to Chan.
"I can't be sure, but Jeongin did suppose that, yeah" Chan told his friend, sharing a reassuring look.
"Damn" Minho bit his lip.
They got silent for a moment, the three of them looking at Minho as he seemed to fall in a deep thought.
He was tormented, clearly.
"You love him, don't you ?" Felix said, breaking Minho from his mind-breaking.
"Admit it !" Hyunjin said, pointing a finger at him.
"..." Minho didn't answer, only blinking as he looked in between them two.
"You're clear as crystal, Min" Chan commented, chuckling.
"Am I ...?" Minho asked, scratching the back of his head.
"Damn, that's a confession" Hyunjin said, chuckling
"I think I like him, yeah" He admitted, sighing as he did.
"Why the long sigh ?"
"He's a complicated one, you know it" Minho winced "I don't even know if he likes me back, and with all this avoiding, I'm starting to feel like it's an unreciprocated love"
"Well, I don't know the boy enough to say anything for sure, but he does look like he likes you" Chan mentioned, smiling at Minho.
"But yeah, he's a complicated one" Minho repeated again, desperate.
"Why don't you just admit ? Confess ?" Felix asked, smiling widely
"... That needs some guts" Minho mumbled, whining.
"You have those" Hyunjin motivated.
"What if he turns me down ?" Minho responded, clearly scared.
"Maybe he won't" Felix responded firmly.
"And even if he does, doesn't mean he doesn't like you" Hyunjin continued
"And at least you'll be fixed" Chan added "If he doesn't like you back, then you have the answers you need to go forward and not let an unreciprocated love bring you down"
Minho stared at them two, somehow feeling brave.
"I'll ask to see him" He mumbled, picking up his phone.

"He declined" Minho sighed longly.
"What's the reason ?" Chan asked
"Work, again" Minho whined.
"Do you want me to ask Changbin if he really does ?" Chan offered
"No, of course not" Minho smiled reassuringly "I don't wanna investigate or anything, he doesn't have to give me anything" He shrugged, even if Chan could read on his face the slight disappointment.
"Minho, you'd be a perfect boyfriend, you know that ?" Felix said, pouting.
"Maybe if he didn't chose the fucked up ones he'd got one too..." Hyunjin mumbled, before having chopsticks thrown at him right after he finished his sentence, letting out a shriek at it.
"Let's go drink ? The four of us ?" Minho offered, still wanting to have a night out.
"I'm in"
"Let's go"
"I'm down"
