Tom and his wife Sarah were sitting in the living room watching the news. Tom found out a year ago that his missing little sister was alive, and wanted for countless murders. He couldn't understand why the system was treating her like all the other criminals.

She was a victim, taken at just fifteen and surly brainwashed into the mad woman she was to this day. He was thankful his parents were no longer alive to see what had truly happened to their only daughter.

Vera had a funeral in 1974, five years after going missing. It was hard to have to say goodbye to the baby sister he hadn't seen in years. Tom was at college when his sister and her friends decided to take a road trip, that being the last time anyone from the family had seen her or her friends. He was five years older and felt terrible that he wasn't there to keep her safe. But last year in 1988 he saw her face on the news, she was in intensive care after getting shot several times by police, along with two older men, men that turned out were wanted in several states for murder, kidnapping and smaller petty crimes.

All that time his sister was alive! How could they have given up on her so easily?

Everyone said five years missing she was surly dead, they found her best friends van on the side of the road a year after everyone went missing. Blood was everywhere in the old beat up van. His sister was missing and the police said everyone was murdere, yet somehow she survived.

Tom was doing everything in his power to save his sister, but the state had sentence her to ten years in prison with the possibility of parole if the siciatrist deemed her fit to be free. It angered him that after twenty years of being a prisoner to the monsters that took her, now she was a prisoner all over again. Tom was working on getting her out, but Sarah understood she was crazy, Vera was not the same young, Innocent girl she was back in 1968 when she went missing ...
She was Baby Firefly now, wife of Otis. She was just as crazy as the rest of them locked away, but Tom wouldn't give up on his little sister, not again.
