Chie: Morning! Hey hey! Yukiko and Pippa told me that they'll be able to come to school again in two days! Oh man, I'm glad. I'm so happy!
Y/N: It's thanks to you, Chie. Also, Maddie quit her job as a detective and is coming to our school to be a teacher in two days. She's teaching band.
Chie: C'mon, you know it's because all three of us did our best. Actually, more like the three of us, and one animal-thingy...? Also that's great!
Ayane: Oh, Senpai. I just wanted to remind you that we have practice today.
Yasogami High music room...
Band captain: Cut, cut, cut! The trombone is flat! Is that you again, Ayane?
Ayane: I-I'm sorry!
Band captain: Alright. Let's see what we can do about the tempo in that second movement...
Y/N attended band rehearsal. He played his trumpet with passion...
Ayane: You must be tired, Senpai. You have such great tone! I guess you weren't kidding when you said you'd played before. Oh, sorry, I know that doesn't mean much coming from someone like me. I was sticking out again today...I wish I had as much talent as you.
Y/N: You do have talent.
Ayane: Huh? Y-You really think so? I guess I'll just have to keep at it, then...
Ayane smiles happily.
Ayane: Oh, but we have another trombone player here. Takeru-senpai. He's really good, so he always gets picked for performances. That's why I've never gone to one. But it doesn't matter...I can't play in front of an audience anyway. I'm sorry...I shouldn't bother you with all this. I better get this place picked up so I can go home.
Cleanup looks like a big task for just one person.
Y/N: I'll help you clean up.
Y/N offered to help Ayane.
Ayane: Huh? Uh, ummm...Thank you so much. I'm sorry, you really shouldn't have to do this...
Ayane looks apologetic. Y/N can feel Ayane's kindness toward him...
Ayane: Oh my, it's already getting dark. All right, let's do it!
Y/N helped Ayane clean and walked home with her. Y/N decided to work on making envelopes. Y/N quietly continued the dull task...Y/N worked meticulously. Y/N begin to make a game of how well he can paste the glue onto the envelopes. It became entertaining, and he did better than the goal he was set! Y/N went to sleep.
