"Daddy please!" I screamed as he threw my poor 6 year old body down the stairs.
"Worthless" he kicked me again.
"I Hate You" he kicked me for the final time when my mom walked through the door.
"DAVID WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO GRACY?"
"Giving her what she deserves." he said cruelly.
He then brought a match box, light it up and threatened me.
"Not a single word I will want to hear from your mouth."
I stayed quiet as tears strummed down my face. He then stood up and threw the lighted up match stick right on my foot. I yelled in pain. My mother quickly came to me and threw that match stick away. There was small burn patch on my foot. It was burning very much. As mom was helping me to stand up. Dad came out of nowhere and pushed mom aside cruelly. He then held me up by my neck.
"What did I tell you? Don't you understand?" He yelled.

My dream broke as I woke up startle due to the loud voice of alarm ringing alongside my bed.
"Bad dream?" I heard a deep sweet voice of a girl who was standing near me by my bed.
Kenzie.
"Yes." I simply said. Holding my tears back.
"Don't worry. It was just a dream." Kenzie said. She always comforts me whenever I get bad dreams. She is daughter of this adoption center's owner. Yes, right, adoption center. I live here and Kenzie is my only friend close to me. She is 2 years older than me.
Hold up, Hold up!!!! I didn't introduce myself, did I? Well I'm Gracy Steve. I'm 15 years old girl. I have brown colored eyes and brunette curls. Most say I am a tomboy....... They are right! I love snapbacks and the color brown! Also have a secret obsession with One Direction. My favorite member is Harry Styles. I know about his flirty reputation and constantly hooking up with girls. But I mostly focus on the fact that he is cute........ sweet.......... and.......... he has the amaZAYN voice!
Anyways back to the reality.
I hugged her.
"So Gracy, some people are coming to our adoption center you might fond of....."
"Really? Who? " I asked in an excited way.
"You'll find out soon." Kenzie said this and she ran away.
