After the maids informed the mistress of the house Anne Gravielt. She quickly rushed to Eleanor's room.
*Knock Knock*
Anne - Elee.. Are you in there my darling??? Talk to mom, dear!
Anne Gravielt has been knocking on the door but Ele didn't open it .
*After 2 minutes silence*
The door was unlocked , by Eleanor at last.. Anne Steps in the room...
Anne - Dear Elley.... What happened dear?? Talk to me...
*Concerned eyes*
On hearing her mother's words , Eleanor started Sobbing.
*Hugs*
Anne hugs her daughter.
Anne - Elley.. Use this to blow off your nose..
*Hands over handkerchief*
Anne - Dont cry my dear... Everything will go smoothly....
The man you're getting married to is a great man.. We've been acquainted with him since he was a kid. He's really good for you, dear.
Eleanor - But mom, what about my preferences???
Don't I have anything to say in this???
After all it's about my marriage...
"Dear, we love you from the deepest bottom of our heart, and we only want the best for our daughter. That's why, we've planned this marriage for you. And, you still have 6 months left to get to know Zeldan.." - Anne claimed.
"You don't have any other love interests.." - Anne further asked.."Do you??"
"Definitely not Mom."
"That's great then! We've arranged a date for you two in one of the fanciest hotels. We are sure, you are going to love it..."
Eleanor had nothing to say, because her mother was so polite and loving. She couldn't resist. And, agreed on the date. The date was a week away.
Since, Zeldan had been away for his combat training in Thailand. As he had to prepare for the National Kingdom Martial Art Tournament which was going to be held in the next 3 months.
After 10minutes -
"Bye Dear... Make sure to eat your breakfast.." - Anne said before leaving Elea's room.
Eleanor silently Shuts the door and come back and sat on her bed edge.
*Sighs*
"What am I going to do with this marriage"
"It's still 8:30 am in the morning... I don't feel like eating.. I need some fresh air or else I would die in here because of suffocation."
*Eleanor Sneaks out of the mansion, without informing anybody, grabbing her car keys*
Every time Eleanor feels upset or uneasy she sneaks out of the mansion for some fresh air. She always comes to the Vulcan Forest. Which is roughly 10 km away from her mansion. Nobody knows about this place..
Except for her Elder brother..
"This place is always so quiet and beautiful.." - Ele said before sitting on a rock .
20 minutes had gone by. And, soon after some time a downpour started.
"Huh??"
"Rain?????"
"At this hour?" - Ele said
"I quickly need to get back to my car. Before, I get soaked in the rain." - Eleanor showed her concern towards her safety and proceeded towards her Car.
As Eleanor was running towards her car. Due to heavy rain and slippery surfaces, she slipped..
"Ahhhhh"
She was about to slip into the Vulcan Lake. Since, she was wearing long heels. But.....
Suddenly..
She felt her body stopped moving while not hitting any surface or falling down. She slightly opened her eyes whe she felt something or someone's grip on her wirst.
An anonymous person grabbed her hand. And, saved her from falling into the lake.
When Elea looked at that man, time stood by.. Everything went silent.. his eyes.. deeper than the bottom of the ocean..
Soon she got back in her senses and Managed to stand straight while already drenched in the rain.
"Thanks for saving my life!!" - Elea said showing her gratitude for the Man.
?? : "It's pouring quite heavily, come with me my house is inside the woods."
The man offered help to her.. but since She had a car and also couldnt go along with a stranger, she decided to call off the offer. "Uh- but, I have to go."
?? : "How can you go in this heavy rain"
"I have a car" - Elea assured
?? : Oh- Okay.
The man nodded..
He was about to walk away as already turned his head away for going.. but suddenly Eleanor screamed"
"Ohhhnoooo!!!" - Elea screamed!
"Wait- Where are my keys??" - Elea said while checking for her keys
"I can't seem to find my car keys" - She further added and said to the man while looking all tensed.
?? : "Come with me, at my house. After this downpour stops, I'll help you, find your car keys."
"Well I guess I have no other way.. " - Elea said with hesitation in her mind..
?? : "Let's go"
