Today was no different than another Cana was drinking,Lucy the hoe was surrounded by the stupid guys,and you were just chilling.

Until Gajeel,Happy, and Natsu scared you but you punished them because you were the strongest dragon slayer the guild has to offer and you had a reputation to uphold. Natsu just left on a mission and asked you to join them and you, but you disagreed. Then there was only you and Gajeel left out of your mini group of knuckle heads which is what you were all referred to when all together.

You were about to start a conversation with him ,when you got cut off by Gajeel trying to start one at the same time. He asked if you wanted to go on a mission you agreed, so you set off to to be prepared to meet at at 7:00pm. You only went with him and not Natsu, because Lucy was going with Natsu.

It being a far distance and you too being Dragon Slayers you had to take the train and I think we all know you ended up blowing chunks. Luckily you had Gajeel there to lean on.

Y/N's POV

Me and Gajeel took an easy job we only had to catch some bandits, which only took about 20 minutes. On the way back I brought it up as casually as I could.

"Gajeel in 2 days you know it's my birthday right!? Right!? Right!?" She asked.

Gajeel's POV

OH SHIT I FORGOT(Y/N'S) BIRTHDAY,but i can't lie can i or she'll never trust me again I'll have to tell the truth I told my self as she yelled.

You know It's my birthday Right she yelled 3 times at me. I looked at her straight in the eyes and told her the truth she laughed.Then looked me dead in the eyes I started to sweat insanely hard when she yelled 3 hurtful words at me.

"METAL BRAINED BAKA!" then stormed off and when I ran after her she yelled back to me. "If you follow me were done and your sleeping on the couch tonight!" She then countinue to stomp off. I mean I get why she did it, it was the 4 year in a row I forgot.
