In this story, Kunikida has selective mustism. He can only communicate by writing sentences down in his notebook. And Dazai has Phonological Dyslexia. Which means he cannot always understand what Kunikida is saying to him.

Dazai came into the office, Kunikida was the last one there. It was almost closing time, everyone else had gone home.
"Hey Kunikida! Why are you still here?"
Dazai said, with a cheerful tone, smiling.
Kunikida's  head quickly turned to look at the tall, charming brunette. The sunset from the agency's windows were shining on him, making him look almost angelic. Kunikida smiled, took out his notebook and carefully wrote,

Dazai read his note carefully, Kunikida knew Dazai had a hard time reading. So he purposefully wrote shorter and easier to read sentences. Dazai was glaring at his name on the note, he noticed the small heart above the i. He felt his face flush. He love when Kunikida wrote his name, he felt like he was a high school lover boy when he read it.
Dazai kept every single note Kunikida wrote to him. He slipped it into his pocket and said with a calm tone, "Ah, i see. I'm just checking to make sure that the place is locked up. But that's alright! Can i stay here with you until you finish? It's getting late and i don't want anything to happen."
Kunikida nodded, with a sad smile.
Dazai noticed this, but quickly brushed it off. He didn't like to dwell on burdening thoughts. They both remained in silence as Kunikida finished his work. Dazai was standing near the window, admiring the view of Yokohama as the sun slowly set. He watched the setting sun with his big brown eyes, his thoughts racing. Dazai always felt a certain way when he was with Kunikida. Especially when they were alone, together. But he knew that it was nothing romantic, right? I mean Kunikida was only his co-worker. Nothing more. He pushed his feelings to the back of his head, and swallowed. He jolted at the sound of rustling, he forgot he was still standing in the agency. He turned and saw Kunikida filing some paperwork away. He had his coat on and bag in hand. Dazai got the impression he was ready to leave.
"Kunikida-kun! Are you ready to go?"
Kunikida nodded. He beckoned Dazai over to him. Dazai skipped happily to Kunikida. He got a page from his notebook and wrote,

(the note was meant to say, "I was thinking, since ist so late, could i maybe stay at your house?")

(the note was meant to say, "I was thinking, since ist so late, could i maybe stay at your house?")

Dazai's face flushed a lychee pink. Kunikida studied Dazai's reactions, his eyes glared each word. Dazai's lips gently opened and he whispered,
"I..I'd love to. I love sleepovers!"
Dazai seemed very enthusiastic about staying with Kunikida. They always enjoyed their time together. The two men gathered their belongings and Dazai was last to walk out. He locked the doors of the agency and put the keys in his pocket. They were walking down the street, heading to Dazai's house. A cold breeze suddenly struck the two. And with that, Kunikida felt a small hand attach itself onto his arm.
He turned and saw Dazai shivering.
"Sorry, Kunikida. It's just super cold. Can i hold your arm?"
Kunikida was already smiling, he nodded happily. Dazai smiled back.
And just like that, they both continued to walk through the cold. Interlinked by the arms. I'd say they were walking for about another 15 minutes before arriving at Dazai's house. Dazai let out a sigh of relief,
"Ahhh...it feels so good to be home!" Dazai immediately threw his bag down, his coat along with it, and flopped down onto his sofa. Kunikida started giggling. His laughs progressively got louder.
"Come join me Kunikida! Let's jump on the sofa! It's a super bouncy one!"
Kunikida calmed himself down, and carefully took off his bag. He was about to set it on the ground before he was interrupted.
"Kunikida! You don't have to be so professional all the time. Just throw your stuff on the floor!"
He stalled for a minute. He wasn't very used to letting himself have fun. He was a very sophisticated man after all. But he thought, why not? He threw his bag and coat on the floor, and joined Dazai in his childish antics. Dazai was so happy to see Kunikida on the sofa with him, the two laughing as they jumped like two children on Dazai's sofa. Kunikida felt pure bliss for the first time. He watched Dazai's hair reshape itself every time he jumped. Kunikida couldn't deny it, he was so in love with his childish, immature co-worker, Osamu Dazai. Dazai was quick to notice that Kunikida was no longer jumping.
"Kunikida, are you alright? You don't have to jump anymore if you really don't wa-"
Dazai was cut off, buy kunikida. But not because he was writing something, not because he was doing something, no. He was cut off by a kiss. Kunikida had just kissed him. Dazai felt his stomach twist, he was on cloud nine. Dazai had no regret for what he was about to do. He grabbed Kunikida's hair and made Kunikida's soft, gentle kiss, into a rough, hard one. They were no longer standing on the sofa, they had both gotten onto their knees, still on the sofa though. Kunikida winced at the tight grip at the back of his head. Dazai smiled into the kiss. They broke apart for air, a small string of saliva connecting from their mouths. Reminding them both of their intimate kiss. At this point Kunikida was laying on the sofa, and Dazai was on top of him. There was a small silence until Kunikida's lips parted slowly, he barely whispered out,
"I..l-love..you."
"K-Kunikida.."
Dazai's eyes watered. And watered..until he was bawling his eyes out.
"Kunikida!! Kunikida you..you spoke!! Oh my god Kunikida! I love you, I love you!!!"
Dazai said through little sobs. He wrapped his armed around Kunikida, and squeezed him like he was about to die. Kunikida smiled at Dazai's happy reactions, and he was quite proud of himself for being able to speak. Overwhelmed by all these emotions, Kunikida started to quietly sob as well. All the tears that were being cried were all happy though. At least for now.
Dazai pulled away from the hug, and stared Kunikida deep in his eyes. Dazai looked at Kunikida's face. He admired everything about it. His soft demeanour, his smooth jawline, his perfectly placed nose, his soft, strawberry lips, his stunning, emerald green eyes, his gorgeous, long, hair, everything about him was absolutely heavenly in Dazai's eyes. Kunikida blushed a dark red as Dazai's eyes graced his face. He turned away from a slight embarrassment. But that didn't last long. Dazai grabbed Kunikida's face and pulled their views back together, their souls interlocking as they stared into each others eyes. Right now, in this moment, it felt like nothing else was wrong. No evil was in the world, and it was just them two. This moment they were both experiencing, was absolutely transcendental. They stayed in the same position for a few minutes, until Dazai whispered with a sleepy voice,
"Kunikida..can we sleep? I've suddenly got so tired.."
Kunikida grabs Dazai and kisses him softly. He nods. Dazai lays his head on Kunikida's chest, and feels Kunikida's hand slowly rest itself on his head. They both fell asleep together in under five minutes. Cuddling together, the rain outside started to pour. The two peacefully layed together, both vulnerable as they slept. The sound of heavy rain hitting off the window. It seemed like something out of a movie.
