It's will not skill it's one of my favourite quote all the time. In school days, whoever used to score good we randomly say So Lucky of uhhh!!! I still remember l was too much serious about my studies and setting goals , actually that was my defence mechanism to avoid family mishaps. But for the very first time l failed in one of my favourite subject where l got (4 / 20 )and in part 2 (6.5 /20 ). And brown parents can never tolerate it ,after that l was taunted alot of times. It gave me mental toll . I made into my mind l'll do best in next semester , l used to stay by 2 pm, mugging up formulas , numericals and trust me in few readings l mugged up line to line. Here comes our next semester and yes l did it !!! I got 19.5/20 in part 1 and 18/20 in part 2 . I don't care about that point but l was on the cloud. But l still remember my friend commenting "Yaaaaaaar you are so lntelligent "And it pricked my heart. May be for some people it might be motivating but not in my case !
How people perceive the idea of failure and success it's matter of time and experiences. Whenever we look for perfection we usually think in other people perception. Perfection craves attention whether it is someone's or our owns. My only thing is to say that to be perfect you need to be imperfect first although perfect things don't exist cause everyone's definition is different for being perfect
Firstly, recognise that you are not perfect . Secondly, think about 'possible' changes u can make. Third thing is to make it habitual, to flow it in your body like blood.
Due to globalisation, Western culture is spreading widely in mind and behaviour. People in India are downgrading their culture and spirituality. Let's take common example Being Indian l like to eat food by my hands whether it's curry or a solid dish. But we made it uncommon and feel disgusting for eating with bare hands. And nowadays in every hotel in every state whether it's village or city you will definitely get fork and spoon along with dish. I can once consider spoon but like aahaa!!! what about fork it kills us just for being authentic and following moral values ? ..... Really?
Once our family went to hotel to have breakfast and we ordered south Indian food. I like medu vada l can't get over south dishes! And l m foodie person once food comes in front of me l can't resist my hands. Someone mumured that see how that grandpa is eating with fork even you should start learning it, and there's me who already finished eating by hands. That's hilarious of me. So, here we can learn how our daily actions are being judged there's difference between being modern and uncivilized.
Why do Indian youth are so obsessed with Western culture ? So you think that Indians are not perfect and western's are ! I m not against Western culture but getting influenced and downgrading our own culture is wrong and l can't tolerate it! Going to Western countries and then changing our style l can accept it but why to make it habitual and insulting our own culture. If u can eat it with fork then you are perfect and if you can't then you are moron ?.
This was just small example l stated there are many such situations l caughted in my own family too and it makes me sad but l hope next generation will change its definition of being perfect. Being perfect is not being genius , modern but daily practice and consistency in behaviour and facing any consequences with mindfulness can make you capable of being perfect.
