Around 4 hours into the flight, Danae fell asleep. She got a bit tipsy after her 5th drink, tell har neva did fi drink nothing enuh, but mi a ediot.
Scrolling through Social Media I got bored so I decided to wake her up.
A dem time deh mi shoulda chuck out a d jet..

"Danae..", I whisper slightly shaking her. " Danae.", I repeated now shaking her slightly harder.
"Danae!!", I shouted and shook her rapidly.
" Bomba a wah?!", she screamed as she sat up as quick as lightning coulda strike. " Mi bored bredda", I said now kneeling in front of her, pouting slightly.
Yah battyman?

"Nuh do yuh face suh, it look crush up", she said now frowning looking down at me.
" Stop gwan wid mi suh nuh and entertain mi".
"Mi look like TV, a suh mi brawd?", she said dramatically holding her chest. " Is a long flight, come mek wi do sumn nuh..", I suggested making my way to my seat.
" Fi trueee, come mek wi jump out a di plane", she responded sarcastically with a smile on her face.
" Cause mi nuh know wah yah chat seh, weh yuh wah do, fly d plane?"
" Yah get out a hand wid dah attitude deh enuh, nuh mek mi affi fix it"
" Weh yuh be, mi fada?"
Giving her a glare, she looked the opposite way.
"Come play a drinking game", I smirked holding two glass cups in my hands. " A muss duppy yah guh play wid cause anuh me, play it wid yuh reflection".
"A cya guh sleep yuh guh sleep Danae.."
" Bad night to you sir."
Soon enough she fell asleep. I sighed and poured a cup for myself and sat back down, I went back to scrolling through Social Media when I got a text from and Unknown number.

Danae's POV..
I woke up to the sound of the pilot telling us we're about to land, I sat up and blank a few times to clear my vision.
A cya reach wi reach suh quick
I turn to my side searching for Shane, I see him looking out the window. "Shane?".
He looked over his side and smiled.
" Finally wake", he said with a soft chuckle.
"Wi reach already?"
"Mhm, yuh did a sleep long. As soon as we come out we a guh straight a d hotel, yer?"
"Alright", I yawned.
We walked down the stairs exiting the jet, a Brown 'Range Rover SV Carmel Edition' was parked and waiting for us a few seconds away. We walked our way over and the driver greeted us with a warm smile, Oshane opened the door allowing me to enter first, once I sat over to the left he came and sat beside me.
" Yuh wah d nothin after wi gah d hotel?", Oshane asked while setting a ipad on his lap. "Not really, but tomorrow I wanna go somewhere fun!", I squealed. " What do you want to go do? Sight- seeing?" He questioned, his eyebrows furrowed.
" How about an amusement park?", I said now fully facing him. " A swear yuh act like a likkle pickney sometime enuh" he laughed. " Can we go?". " Alright"..
The drive was peaceful, as we drove pass buildings I saw a huge crowd of people almost on all streets, they could all pass for siblings, I thought to myself.
Most buildings were lit up, the city is absolutely stunning, breath taking really. I wasn't taking notice of my surroundings, I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Danae we're here".
Did I space out that long?

Upon entering the lobby, I was speechless, the lights set a beautiful tone for dimly lit entrance, most of the surrounding was a beautiful marble design. We both walked up to the counter where we were supposed to register. I wasn't paying attention to the conversation being held beside me, my mouth was slightly open as I scanned the building. This Hotel was on another level, I even heard water trickling but couldn't spot where the sound was coming from. I came back to reality as I felt Oshane's palm slide against mine, our fingers then intertwined. I looked up at him to see him with a slight smirk on his face. With one last word from the woman at the counter, a lady came from around the corner and greeted us with a smile and a short bow. She showed us our way to our room, the elevator was straight down the hall to the left.
Our room was located on floor 42, as the elevator took us up I realized Oshane's hand was still in mine, which made me smile.

That was in the past, this is the present..

We made our way to our designated rooms, upon entry we were met with a beautiful living area, the windows showcased the city perfectly, as we made our way to the bedroom it was one bed covered in white sheets, the walls were light brown wood material. I decided to take pictures in the morning when the sun would be shining a beautiful orange shade into the room, it would be a nice sight. After touring the room, we decided on just staying in for the rest of the night and spend tomorrow together, we supposedly have 4 more days for ourselves until the 'huge meeting'. I'm excited.
Let's see how tomorrow goes, I laid in the bed staring at the ceiling while Shane was in the bathroom, soon enough I surprisingly drifted off into slumber.
