So in the prologue I will just explain the personalities of all the characters and what their importance to the story is. Btw it would be a good idea to look at the picture above. If u want to get straight to the story just skip this chapter, it's kinda boring.
Ashleigh: she gets good grades but most people wouldn't clarify her as a nerd. She is funny nice but always stands up for what she believes in even if it doesn't help. She is confident and loves her friends. Ashleigh lives on a farm on the border of New South Wales, in Australia. She loves it there although her parents go away on business trips lots of the time, leaving her and her little brother Callum by them selves, so her older sister Brook has to come up from Adelaide to look after them. Ashleigh is the main character of this book and is very important to the story line I hope u come to like her like I do.
Ben: Ben Mitchells is the jock of the school. He is everything that Ashleigh would want to be if she was a boy, apart from the fact that he is the horrible, backstabbing, Rumour starting jerk of west hill high. Ben lives on a farm in the same road as Ashleigh so she will have to see him quite a lot. He is absolutely gorgeous and Ashleigh, if she didn't know what he was truly like, would be head over heels for him. Of course she knows that, quoted from Ben himself (which if u hadn't picked up is actually me) "that if the popular boy was found hanging out with the ugly freak nerd of the school than the popular jock would no longer be a popular jock." Of course she is not ugly nor a freak nor even a nerd. Ben is a very important part to the story because Ashleigh is going to change him he is going to change Ashleigh as well.
Brianna: Brianna smith is the female version of Ben. When Brianna sees something she wants she gets it. She is not that important to this story but u will find out more about her later in the story. I will only tell you one more thing she is evil!
Lexy: Lexy is nice and has been Ashliegh's friend since 4th grade and is the most like her out if the group. she is quite important to the story but you find out more abut her in the book.
Lucy: Lucy is funny and nice.
she is popular, and is focused on getting a boyfriend this year. her and Edward have always had something that Ashliegh and Lexy just cant figure out. every time Lucy gets a bf it only lasts afew weeks. she, like Lexy is quite important but you will find out more about it through out the book.
Edward: Edward is shy and most of the time just hangs out with the girls but some times he hangs out with the other jocks of west hill high. Edward is a classic jock, he likes footy and heaps of girls ask him out every week. Edward had his first serious girlfriend in year 8 but at the end of 8th grade they broke up and Edward has never really gotten over it so he never goes on dates
Brook: to Ashleigh Brooks life is perfect. She has a great boyfriend who she Lives with, has a well paying job and lives in a wealthy suburb with a nice big house. And Ashleigh is not entirely wrong Brook is done with the drama of school and is settling down nicely. She is a great big sister and has the answer to almost everything.
Callum: Callum Ashleigh's little brother and all her friends think he is the most adorable thing on earth which might actually be true. Callum is 14, yes I know a 14 year old does not sound adorable he is soooooo nice and caring he is quite protective over his sisters and loves them so much. no one ever fights with Callum including his sisters. Ashleigh is not quite sure if he is ever going to go through mood swings. But she thinks she got lucky and got the most amazing brother in the world. Callum is not that important to the book but let me tell you this he does go through mood swings.
Lachlan: look, all I can say about Lachlan is that he is a complete and utter jerk and Ashleigh feels like the dumbest person on the planet for not realising that.
