As the sweet sound of the final bell rang, you felt a relieving feeling inside of you. You were glad to finally be done with school for the week. You could finally go home and just relax all weekend.
As you walked home by yourself, you felt like something was off. Your neighborhood usually feels quiet at this time of day, however today, it felt a little more silent.
As these thoughts filled your head, a small, kitten-shaped silhouette entered a shrub located in the front porch of your house.
You stood frozen. That sudden movement was extremely unexpected. You were debating on whether or not you should check out the shrub. However, before you could decide, a small, skinny kitten who appeared to have a green, mint-colored tint to its fur slowly walked out the bush and into your field of view.
The cat stared at you with its sharp, green eyes. "Maybe its scared of me?" You thought to yourself.
You stared back at the cat and slowly approached it to pick it up to at least give it some food. The cat didn't seem to fight back and let you pick it up.
You brought the cat inside of your house and gave it some water in a bowl and you looked for food in your house to give to the cat.
You heard loud meowing coming from your living room. You assumed the cat must be starving. You found a can of tuna hidden in the back of a cabinet. You gave it to the cat.
The cat ate the whole can and soon it slowly approached you and starting rubbing its head against your leg. Loud purrs could be heard from down there. You couldn't help but smile with a bit of warmth in your heart. You brought it to your bedroom and let it lay down on your bed.
You lied down next to the cat and gently petted its little head. You slowly shut your eyes and you quickly fell asleep with the cat next to you.
