The two lovers woke up in a tangle of bodies. However, even in their undressed state, the two lovers had kept their promise, and gone in the spirit of tradition. Samuel had not taken away Juliet's virginity. Samuel was awake first, and brought Juliet out of the land of sleep with a trail of kisses traveling down her body. Her head lifted off his chest, and their lips met again.

Juliet was the first to rise, and gently stood. She was unashamed in front of Samuel, and he stood to touch her body again.

"Oh, Juliet," he murmured, "are you sure we cannot break tradition?[he kissed her shoulders here] You look so...tempting in the sunshine..." Samuel held Juliet close to his own body.

Juliet did not resist, and yet tradition was kept. An hour later, Juliet was again at her familiar post at the kitchen table, looking over wedding plans. Samuel was dressed neatly, heading out to his job at the record dealer. He managed new artists, and got the word out that they existed. He literally created dreams for the new and the beginners.

Juliet had been unemployed almost all her life, only working a small job during college. Then she had met Samuel, and she had no longer needed to work. They had dated for a year, and on their one year anniversary, he had proposed.

Samuel had taken Juliet out to her favorite restaurant, a large café on a peer. He had taken her up and asked for one of their 'premier' seats. Here, the seats jutted off the peer and were suspended over the ocean. The glass floor added to the magic. The two lovers had shared a chocolate and raspberry desert, then, after Samuel gathered his courage, he got down on one knee.

Juliet had said yes in a flurry of tears and smiles. She was very emotional, where Samuel only showed his emotional side to those closest to him. The owner of the restaurant gave them a free bottle of wine and a card which allowed them to eat free at his restaurant the next time they came.

Even now, two weeks after Samuel's proposal, Juliet continued to wear the wedding ring. It shone on her finger as she looked through more wedding plans.

"I'm off to work, love," Samuel said, and Juliet looked up. He leaned over, just as he did everyday, and she kissed his cheek.

"Stay safe on your way their and back," Juliet said. She stood up and gave Samuel a hug, and he waited only seconds before returning it.

Samuel peered down at the pages scattered across the table and then looked into Juliet's face.

"What are you planning now, Jule?" He whispered. Juliet smiled and gazed deep into Samuel's eyes.

"It's our wedding cake flavor," Juliet whispered. "And the top tier is raspberry and chocolate."

Samuel smiled and so did Juliet.
