Chapter 4 - ❝Maria contritos corde❞

It's been a few hours since Stardust and the others got the Apostle's Light from Saturn, the Messenger of Virtue, the republic's weather turned dull this day from the republics sea, before gaining it, it was normal, fresh, serene and breezy. Maybe it's the change of weather but why does it feel so unrequited now...?

As Sherbet looked around the sky, he felt something weird is going to happened in the seas or in the sky, "Huh... Why does the weather seemed so gloomy today? Wasn't it clear before we got to the Mansion Custard?" Sherbet observed the gloomy skies especially on the sea, he didn't see any eye of the storm there, "Perhaps it's just a casual rainstorm approaching in the republic, besides according to the news the rainstorm in the republic is going to have less rain as it only stays on the ocean." Clotted cream noticed it and acknowledge Sherbet about the upcoming rainstorm.

"Besides the weather, I would like to invite you to a restaurant that has various of foods and desserts to have at breakfast, to fill your stomach after meeting such a faithful moment in the Mansion." Clotted cream finally invites them to a restaurant located at the Harbor, "You're telling me you're inviting us to eat at this expensive restaurant?! Does it have any Spicy Dishes in that restaurant, IF YES! I would dig in into it with 5 plates!" Capsaicin becomes hype by his invitation as he chuckles in confidence.

"You're such a foodie Capsaicin..." Kougn Amann sighed
 "A restaurant... What kind of food would you cookies eat? Spices or Powder...?" Saturn finally spoke in curiosity, since they're from Beast-Yeast, they never experience eating expensive food, "Huh, I thought you would only speak in a important moment, Saturn?" Stardust turned to Saturn with a curious look, he thought they would only speak only in a private and important matter. "Oh please, you cookies had interesting creations man-made, it would been shitty and boring if I didn't try them, besides, I don't have an apathy to not be interested in cookies good appetite." Saturn looked at Stardust as he was holding them in his arms.

"I see then, you're one interesting messenger..." Clotted cream becomes fascinated by Saturn as he stopped walking after they're now in a restaurant he invited them in, "Well here we are, I already booked a table for us, I didn't even tell you about this but it was just a rewarding surprise for all of us!" Clotted cream holds a smile in his face (How'd he booked a table? Well of course he used his phone during the end of Chapter 3)

"Aww that's so sweet, consul! Thank you...!" Shining Glitter thanked him, she would've been the one who will pay all her money for their breakfast, "No need to address me by my title, Miss Shining Glitter but you're welcome."

As they finally went in and sat in their designated table and ordered their food as they wait, they saw a view outside of the republic, the gloomy weather ruined the view but the ocean outside of the republic is nice, "Such Gloomy weather... Reminds me of the day I went into a sea where a huge fish appears out of nowhere in wrath... Just like me." Stardust then thinks about that moment during his travels, "Oh you went into the Duskgloom sea before, Ser Stardust...?" Clotted cream asked him with a surprised tone as he raised his eyebrows.

"Duskgloom Sea... I did without a ship, you see I can flew over to the sea without knowing my direction but the figure underneath the water scares me..." Stardust told him about his experiences in the Duskgloom sea himself, Clotted cream chuckled in fascination as he sips his cup of tea on the table, "That's surprising, there's a story about the Duskgloom sea. You can ask Captain Caviar Cookie, one of the Elders, if you have time."

Stardust nodded as he tried sipping the tea as their orders are now finally at the table, they began to eat especially Saturn with a little nibble on it to taste it until a wailing sound appeared out of nowhere as Saturn's ears perked up with emotionless eyes on their face. Where does that sound come from? Is that an alarm from the republic, an airhorn from an intruder but no, it sounded different, it's more on a hollow and a growl on the sea... Does it came from the ocean...? Everyone in the restaurant became shocked as they evacuate from higher ground except them.
