After that one incident at the cafeteria there wasn't anything interesting happening, it was always the same procedure. It stayed that way for weeks until the girls decided to go on a jog in the morning so they changed into comfortable clothes and made their way to the gate.

As the six girls made their way to the gate, they noticed a group of people. It looked like they were warming up for something. At first the girls didn't have any problems with it but then Libby suddenly told them „Guys...tell me if I'm wrong but I can see on their jackets 'Shiratorizawa VBC', if I'm not wrong it means that's the Volleyball club right?" Now that Libby mentioned it the other five girls also noticed the print on the jackets. Normally it wouldn't be much of a problem to meet another club, the only major problem is that a friend (just to Izumi. The rest sees him as an good acquaintance) is going to the club that could be very persistent. And coincidentally one of them had caught that persons interest. Still, they decided to make their way to the gate and hoped that the Volleyball Team wouldn't notice them. Who are they kidding? Of course would the Volleyballteam notice them, there aren't many students so early up, going for a jog even rarer.

As they crossed the Volleyball Team someone grabbed Izumi's wrist and pulled her closer. Everyone was shocked especially the Volleyball Team, no one would've thought that their stoic captain would do such thing. So with that everyone there was watching them and waiting to see what happens. Izumi spoke first „What are you doing Wakatoshi?" Shock. That was the best word to describe the Volleyball Teams expressions, it is rare for their captain to talk someone, but a girl? A girl who addresses him by his first name, that is something what no one expected. Many questions were swirling in their minds but Wakatoshi decided to speak first „I just wanted to make sure that I really saw you in the cafeteria. Well, now I'm sure it's you." Izumi opens her mouth to speak but was interrupted by a read haired male „So you are the girl Wakatoshi stared at" a smirk making its way in his face in hopes to tease the girl. To his surprise she didn't get flustered at all and replied „Well, I think he was just figuring out if he really saw me. Nothing special." now directing her attention to Ushijima she said „Well now you're sure it's me. If you could let my wrist go now, that would be nice. I still have matters to attend to." with that she freed her wrist from his grip and walked out of the gate, with her friends following her.

„Well that was funny." said Miyu clearly amused by the interaction. „Yeah! Did you see the faces his teammates made when you called him by his first name? Absolutely hilarious." Rina added to their conversation. With a sigh Izumi replied „At least someone found it hilarious." another sigh „Let's just start jogging." the five amused girls complied to Izumi and started jogging.

The girls were jogging and chatting. What they didn't except is to cross paths with the Volleyball Team again. They thought of going another way but then realized that there was just one way back to school, so they just went with it and jogged in the direction of the Volleyball Team. The first one to noticed them was Tendou, as he saw them he shouted „Guys look there's that girl Wakatoshi spoke to at the gate! And her friends are with her too!" with that the attention of the team was in them. 'Great. Just Great. Now the team definitely noticed us. And I hoped they wouldn't. How dumb of me' thought Izumi. As if voicing out her thoughts Honey spoke up and said „Welp, and here goes our chance to go unnoticed away." Sakura giggled and said „I can already see how annoyed you are Izu. But don't worry we're here with you, but their attention will still be mostly on you." glancing at Sakura the blacknette reapplied with another sigh „Whatever. We didn't had a choice anyway. Let's just get this over with."

The encounter with the Volleyball Team was quite awkward. Neither of the groups spoke to each other until a ash blown with black tips spoke up „So how do you know Ushijima...? " „Kinomoto Izumi. But you may refer to me with Izumi. To answer your question Wakatoshi and I know each other through a friend of mine. I'm not sure if Wakatoshi sees him as a friend to." answered the blacknette the male, „I see. I'm Semi Eita by the way." „Nice to meet you Semi-san" this time it wasn't Izumi who answered but Rina, „We're Izu's friends. I'm Rina the girl with brown hair is Libby, the one with Pink hair is Sakura, the one with the blonde hair is Honey and lastly this is Miyu." „It's also nice to meets you guys. As you already know this is Semi-Semi and I'm Tendou Satouri this is-" the read head got interrupted by a the pinknette „There's no need for introductions. We already know who you guys are, it would be a waste of time if you guys would introduce yourselfs." The team was a little speachless, they were already aware that they were quite known but knowing everyone on the team? They certainly didn't except that.

By now they already could see the school but Tendou opened his mouth again to speak. Just when he wanted to as his question he got interrupted again. This time it was Izumi who spoke „It looks like we're here, it's time to part ways. It was nice chatting with you. Have a nice day." with that the girls said their goodbyes and slowly disappeared from their sight and made their way to the dorms again. „That was an interesting encounter. But I really would've liked to chat a little more, especially with Izumi-chan." Tendou said with an amused tone.

The rest of the school day was going just like every other day. Izumi and her friends weren't expecting anything special. The bell for the lunch break came and the students made their way to the cafeteria, as the six girls stepped in nothing unusual happened. They got their food and wanted to search for a table until a loud voice called out to them „Izumi-chan! Come here! Your friends can join us too!" with that the whole cafeteria turned their heads to see who called this girl just to see the noise came from the read head from the Volleyball Team. By now everyone was waiting for their reaction, it was rare after all for someone who isn't on the Volleyball Team to get invited to sit with them.

Izumi's Friends were still pretty shocked, no one would've expected something like this. Izumi was speachless too, not in a million years would've she guessed that something like that could happen. As she regained her composure she made her way to the table and sat down, her friends following Izumi's example and also sitting down. The whole cafeteria watched in interest, everyone was waiting to see what would happening next. Izumi wanted to ask so many questions. She was wondering why the team called them to their table but before Izumi could speak someone with olive eyes spoke to her first „Join the Volleyball Club Izumi." „What?"
